Do you still remember what was your first discussion here?

Well, I don't. I cannot remember the exact topic or title. I cannot base it on the tabs because others have been placed everywhere when they have become active for some time. But I do remember the contents of the other topics that I discussed. And seriously they were nonsense. Some have had 3 responses, for some 5. Oh, what a discussion. I also had my share of deleted posts because of poll-type questions that it took me some more deleted posts before I understood the rule. But you know, as you get along with the other discussions, reading how interesting they are and how they could get so many responses, you will get inspired to do likewise. How about you? Do you still remember them? ..those first days as a newbie

Hi adnileb: I have to admit that I had to look at my own discussions just to discover that this was actually my first discussion: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2148038.aspx It's interesting. As you can see the first subject that I feel really interested to share with you was about people who talk behind someone's back. I was in college back then so I think I was probably more concerned about what people talked to me and these problems people have to deal in a competitive environment. ALVARO

Wow, you found it too. It's really interesting why did you make such for a first discussion. Anyways, I also had that problem whe I was in college and usually, those days were really the most talked time of our lives. You get to meet different people. But soon, I recovered and ignored them. How about you?

I do indeed remember my very first discussion here - and it was a long time later that I started another one too because, well, I thought it was a humorous and fun topic but I hadn't considered at the time that here on myLot there are people from all over the world and that circumstances are so different for all of us See for yourself that what might appear as fun to some of us in certain parts of the world are seen in a completely different manner by others http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1026483.aspx

Oh, you found it too! It says, Save the peas day! Hmmmm, not bad for me. I can relate with it. But I don't see it as funny though. Maybe the members did the blinking too. Well, that was a long time ago. And it's now a part of your experiences here. What's important is we all learned and improved here. But I think I didn't improve yet.

I dont remember my first discussion here , I was nervous and excited at the same time lol . I remember some of the first people that I interact with though . I ask a lot of question and people where here to answer . I also have a few post deleted but that is all part of the learning process. I now used the search engine to avoid making duplicated titles .

Nervous because I am weird lol Those people you mention are some of the first I come across also . Yes I had deleted discussion because it was duplicated after reading the rule I see that could be it and so I start searching my title first .

Nervous and excited? I understand the excitement, but why get nervous? Like you, I also remember those I get to know on my first days. mysD, mr. Lamb, suni, hardworking girl and ms.Hatley and many more. I seldom use the search engine to search for other discussions that might cause duplication. It's because I sometimes forgot to do it. So, your deleted discussions was about duplicated posts?

Oh, no...you're weird. I never had that experience that mine was deleted because it was duplicated. All of my deleted posts was about poll-type. I wonder why I get to receive many notifications because I have learned my lesson.

for what i could remember, my first discussion seemed to be ridiculed. and rightly so. looking back, there really is nothing in there that would sound interesting to the general population in mylot. well, i didn't check at it. i'm just basing this comment from what i could remember.

Hi adnileb! The truth is I am not also sure about which one of the discussions was my first. But I am thinking that it is the one about my online career. How I was able to find a good site after several attempts and falling into the trap of scam sites. There are also discussions that has no responses but I think I don't have a discussion that was deleted because most of my discussions are presented as an experience. I don't remember that I have asked something like how to do this thing here, especially about the rules, so I was not able to encounter some of the veterans on my earlier posts. But I am happy when I've seen that I was able to start a lot of discussions already. Have a nice day!

So you've been scammed too? I was thankful I got scammed. Because that was the time, I searched for other online earning sites and found mylot. After I found this site, I never attempted to find others since I am so happy here. Legit. Fun. Everything. Before, I cannot think of experiences to share so I merely ask questions about anything. Well, some of them are deleted due to poll-type. When I received my star, I was so happy and made it a discussion too. And, was deleted too because it was a milestone discussion. The veterans already mentioned that it will be deleted so I prepared myself to cry over my earnings because it has many responses. Honestly, I haven't read the discussion guidelines before so I just learn through my experiences of deletion.

I was also warned of some discussion that I made because they thought it may be a violation, like similar discussion, but I stand to my point that my personal experience, if ever it may be similar in content on other discussions, I'm sure that it is not copied. So far I don't have a discussion that was deleted. I think it is the way we deliver and present the discussion. Actually, I encounter some discussions which if you would analyze it, the content is similar to mine but I delivered it in a different way, so their discussion was deleted, mine was still there. Have a nice day!

Oh, I have tons of deleted discussions, err, only few I think. I was having a hard time before figuring out whether it was a poll-type or not. And since most of the notifications said it was a poll-type question, I never made a discussion that is asking a question. I think with yes or no. But I still do ask but now basing on experiences.

I can certainly narrow it down to a couple, and I think that it was probably one requesting information about the image gallery. I could always check the lists, but it would still be diffricult to be absolutely certain because they are not necessarily in the right order. I can remember the approximate contents of the discussion, but I cannot remember any of the responses. However, this was 7 years ago so it is very hard on the memory.

I could narrow it down by checking which ones showed as 7 years old, but it would still be difficult to be certain which was the exact one that I created first.

I have gone through the guidelines many times these last few years that I have been here. May be it was something that I missed out or else may have been deleted due to someone violating guidelines while posting responses.

It's been a long time since the last time I received a notification telling me that my discussion was deleted. I am very careful now not to waste time and earnings and same with the earnings of those who will respond. But I still receive some notifications telling me that my comment was deleted because of the discussion under it was deleted. So, until now, I am not aware of commenting on those discussions that violate the mylot guidelines. Some notifications state the reason why it was deleted. Maybe it's for you to find out and maybe to review the guidelines as well.

That is a good idea.. If the authories are lacking in their responsiblities then they should be held liable.. Unless there isnt enough man power to watch the streets.. I am not sure I have never been to the Philippines.. But I do know of all of the flooding that goes on there..

Oh, manpower here is too much when it comes to government works. Sometimes too many policemen on a single location BUT just chatting. Whereas the street sweeper is only one for too many garbages.

Just in time after this year's election. Basing on the content, I could not tell whether something has changed in America. So, is there something that changed after 4 years? I am from the Philippines and if in case I am the President, there are lots of things I wanna change. For some time, while hearing the news, lots of ideas come through. Like, I will reverse the method of penalty to the authorities and not to the offenders. This os for the case of littering. As you know, Philippines has always been a victim of flood because of the garbages they throw away recklessly. There are signs of no littering, penalty: Php 5000.00, blah, blah, blah... I would assign some officials who will watch such public places and when a litter was found and no offense was made by them, I will collect the penalty to them. In that way, they will learn how to do their duties responsibly. Oh, I do have lots in mind. Some are so silly. I thought of commenting this on your post. But then I kept on typing here. Thanks for sharing! =)

The first few discussions I made here were depressing ones! I was going through some issues and that I luckily found Mylot to share it with. I practically do not have anyone to tell how I was feeling that time and finding Mylot by accident was just the perfect tome to let out the heaviness in my chest that I had been keeping.

I remember my first discussion. It was about money. It got quite a number of responses and I earned $0.34 on that single day with one discussion. This is because I commented back on the responses. Sometimes it's much better to respond on different discussions than making your own. Because you get to have different topics.
