My best friend is also my boss lol...She has a home daycare and i am her daycare assistant. In June she was diagnosed with cancer at the young age of 32!!! You never really know how much you care about a person until something grabs you and shakes you awake...Thank God she is goin to be just fine but I dont know what I would do if something were to ever happen to her...

Strong friendship is usually built if we spend most of our time with them, but it really doesn't mean that we have to be constantly beside them. But as with your situation, I think it is wonderful to be working with your best friend. It give you a lot chance to bond. I am sorry about your fiend being sick, but I hope it was detected in an earlier stage so that she can be cured.

That is awesome that your best friend is your boss. Sorry to hear that she was diagnosed with cancer. Cancer is an awful illness. I'm glad to hear that she is going to be fine. Cancer is scary. It really does make us stop and think, to appreciate those we have in our life.

Somehow you are right, we really can't tell how important the person is until we can see the distance. Sometimes we can't really realize how we care that person much until we knew that we only have a short time. That is why it's really good to give our best to the people we care. I am sorry to hear about your friend's health condition yet, I'm happy to know that she's doing fine. I am hoping for the complete recovery of your friend.

I'm sorry about your friend being sick.Indeed she's too young for this kind of disease. However,if your friend were diagnosed at the onset, there is a big chance that she will survive. At this point in het life, be one of her life support, make the best out of the time that you can spend with her.Has she started her chemo? I suggest your friend to get a second opinion.

I believe in destiny and what it has in store for us. So such tests do happen. I wish her health and fast recovery. In your case I understand the relationship between employer-employee. However, as a whole I disapprove of mixing up friendship and business relationships. I wouldn't like it to work for a friend. Friends are people I like to go out and have fun with. The Boss on the other hand is a person who pays me for my duties which requires stricter attitude.
