This week I will be working like crazy because in 7 days form now, I will go away for the weekend with my friends! My friend has a house in another city and we will stay at her place. We are planning to leave on Friday afternoon and return on Sunday! She is a great fan of Twilight so we might also get tickets for the premiere which is on Friday night in my country! It's going to be amazing! But right now I have to plan my work because I will have to finish 3 individual project by Friday. I am working on one of the projects right now and I will have to work extra during the week to finish them up! I will have to do some teamwork for the next one so it doesn't depend on me to deliver before I leave for my trip. Thankfully, one of my colleagues also has plans for the weekend so I hope she 's going to be supportive and motivate with me the team to finish early! Do you work extra hours when you have plans and you want to finish before the deadline?

I don't have projects I have to have done by a certain time at my job. I just register patients that come in for blood work or xrays and the paperwork part gets done right there when the patient is in front of us, the only thing we have to do is the insurance part but I usually have that finished by the time I leave for the day.I guess I'm grateful for working where I do and don't have to have deadlines and certain task done. I do help my boss out at times when she has a lot of work to do and doesn't have time to get them done, makes me feel good to help others. But I hope your able to finish your projects before Friday so you can go on your trip and not have to worry about work. Have a good week.

It'sreally nice that you can help people! I would like to have the day fot me after I come home but this isn't possible in my field. We are consulters on projects and the clients want the job done on time. I like my job and my field but I miss the communication with people that your job has every day. I was working as a student in a secretary position for a doctor and I really enjoyed this particular part of talking with lots of different people! Thanks, I also hope that everything goes fine because me and my friend will be dissapointed if we cancel the trip.

Yeah I love that I get to talk to a lot of different people each day and get close with each patient that comes thru. I have patients that recognize me even the grocery store and stop and talk to me, it feels great :). I wouldnt mind having a job like you do though, my job gets boring after awhile, especially days when were not busy. I love being kept busy.

Oh yes, I don't even mind if I have to work on my day off just to finish all my deliverables and be able to join the plans that me and my friends have made. I know that the extra work hours is going to be worth it. Besides, I don't think I will enjoy our planned trip that much if I'll be worrying so much about my unfinished works. So I prefer to settle everything so my mind is cleared of anything but fun.

Yes, that is true! It's better to come back without the stress of unfinished jobs! If there is work that needs to be done and we take the laptop then the trip becomes complicated because you need to find time to work! This will never let me relax so I prefer finishing up early and don't think about work for the whole weekend!

I am working a lot of extra hours over the next week because I, too, am about to go away! I need to get as much as I can done before I go so that my students are not in a panic.

Well, it is better to have fun without thinking other things. You did the right thing then, finish all your works before leaving. That way you will have some peace of mind and will enjoy your holiday completely without thinking your unfinished work behind.

I must finish or else I'll have to cancel the trip! All the work should be delivered by Monday morning so if we do all the job by Friday we'll be free for the weekend. I am already going to work this weekend & I want to keep the next one for me! Thank you for your nice comment!

I am trying to take advantage of every opportunity I can get to go for trips! My job has deadlines and it depends on the time management but everything does, right? Even with inline work we can have time plans and work extra one day and take the day off for the next day! I do that qith my reviews, I am planning to post a certain number every week and I write more when I have some free time to finish early. Thanks for your response! Have a great weekend!
