Hmm... Pierogies sound good. Once I get my kitchen more in order, I should try making some from scratch. That sounds like a fun project.

I usually boil perogies and then fry them. They come out fairly crispy that way. I like your idea of veggies though - I usually just have them with onions, but bokchoy would be great.

This evening we ended up at my mother's house at dinner time and she was making beef stew, so we enjoyed the dinner that she cooked for us. It tasted really good, but it sat on my stomach like a brick.
Now as far as the perogies go, I always thought that perogies were a kind of sandwich, but I guess I was wrong. I'm not from the north so I guess I really don't know what they are. Would you care to educate me on what perogies are?

We had ravioli tonight but I don't care for them much, just tolerate them cause I didn't feel like having anything else to cook, etc tonight. They are almost like perogies right? I have never ate one. My one male cousin used to talk about them a few times when he was alive. I did make some broccoli with my (yuck) ravioli tonight and the broccoli was better than the ravioli cause my mother made those and her sauce is usually so thin and watery. She found another brand of sauce now that I love and she didn't use it this time.

Perogies are like dough with stuffing, mine have potatoes, and onion inside. I dont mind ravoili on occassion, but not the canned stuff. Have you tried the veggies one? My Dad bought it years ago so nasty and I find the meat one is so chunky and hard meat.

You are making this girl hungry here. I made spagetti with squash. Hope it turns out good. Yours sounds really good.
