Hello Friends Don't worry, nobody owe my money neither here or in my life for now. But this is little funny case. Here in my neighbor one young boy used to hard work daily and earn very little money. So he hardly take care of his family. Now he got recharged of 10$ on his phone. (personally he never go for recharging for this much money on his mobile). He was confused and little happy at that time. Later on he received one person's call and he told him that he by mistakenly recharged those money for his phone. In fact he was threatening him that give his money back otherwise he will see him. Lol.. How's that? Should this be a tone of that person who actually did that mistake? I know that young boy, he can't manage that much money for now for sure. And why should he pay for others mistake? Little confusing. What you think he should do in this situation?

Hi bro Well, I think this is the e-recharge thing here which is done by a vendor. So it is the vendor to be blamed. This friend of yours who got the 10$ by mistake should tell the caller same and tell him to speak to the person who committed the mistake. It is a small issue blown out of proportions (when the caller threatens for no fault of the called) instead of asking the vendor who recharged to a wrong number. These vendors have connections in the offices and they always get help and money set the right way. I too had a similar issue when the vendor recharged to a different number. When the conformation SMS did not reach me, I checked back with the vendor and he helped me by calling someone in the office and they helped us adjust. And if things get worse, the called should file a complain with the concerned provider, the police and also mention the vendor. Though this could mean loads of issues and complications in Indian scenario but I think your place (Gujrat) is much better and so help should be available.

Hi Bro Well, here vendors are smart.. They always give mobile to customers for entering their phone number for that recharge. So they don't get any kind of blame later on.. So this is mistake of that customer only.. Well, look like thing is settled now, I mean he is not calling that young boy now.. Can't say.

That is one stupid mistake that should not be blamed on the boy. It wasn't his fault that he was recharged. What does that person expect to happen, right? People make mistakes, and people live with the consequences. This applies to everything else in life, and surely includes this $10 mistake. The boy should just keep it and ignore the other person and besides, it should really be his problem at all if someone else made a mistake.

Yes, that's what exactly I think. This boy comes no where in this fault, so why should he suffer that 10$. I told him the same thing that use that money now, no need to worry about it as he is not in the fault from any point. Look like that person also understand this thing and no he isn't calling that boy.. So may be things look like shorted out.

That's good. At least the other person realized that it was his own doing and has to suffer for it. That was some good advice you gave to the boy.

Hi akp! Is there any way that the boy could return the airtime load to the person without spending anything? like transferring the load, although it is not anymore complete. In our place, we could transfer airtime load as little as 2 pesos ($.05) to other numbers. So even if it snot complete he could return some of it. If there is no way to do that then he is not liable for the mistake of other person. I also received airtime loads unintentionally because of the mistake of the loader. So I would tell them I am willing to return the amount although it might not be complete. Some accept it back and some does not require me to return it, instead they are ha because they found new friends.

Hi Aries Nope here we don't have that kind of any service, otherwise this problem could have shorten easily. But here that person who did the mistake is asking for money or recharge in exchange.. And that's what is the problem. I mean why should that boy give his money because of that person's mistake.. Well, look like it is shorten now. May be that person understand that boy's mistake and not calling him anymore.

Hi alp- This is nothing big, once I recharged my Airtel Data card using flexy service that went to another number because the operator wrongly punched one digit. Later when nothing happened I reminded to the operator(flaxy shop owner)he realized his mistake and called that number. He said this is of no use for me as I do not use internet through mobile or data card. So I lost my money for nothing but the operator adjusted it from my next recharge.

Hi sunil That operator is really wise.. I mean here mostly don't do that. In fact as I said in above response, they tell customers to add their number during any kind of recharge so later on no one blame them. This case is also similar.. The customer itself entered the number and by mistakenly he entered it wrong.

Anand, i feel pity for that young boy, as you mentioned he is working hard for his living, then there is no use in forcing him to pay this money. The mistake is from the caller side and he is responsible for his fault, the little boy is lucky to receive this recharge. In my opinion he is not in need to pay back this money. Simply ignore this call and do his work for his living

Hi VP Yes that's what i said.. Well, if that young boy is rich and can pay such thing than there is different thing, but if he can't pay those money than no need to force him as there wasn't any mistake of that young boy.. Well matter is closed now, as that person is not calling him anymore. May be he left this thing or realized his mistake.

That's how things should be handle.. Here at our place most of the vendors tell customers to add the number before this kind of recharge, so in this case total problem is of that person only and still he was harassing that boy. But now may be he understand the thing and not calling him anymore.

Hi akp, i feel the total mistake is that recharging shop owner, he must pay for his mistake. Why boy should bear it he already for his recharging not for somebody's cell.

Hi Jotomy I guess here in this case mistake is of that person.. May be that's why he was asking for money directly to this boy. I mean here in many areas this kind of shop vendors give customers to add their number so no kind of blame they face later on. So may be this should be the case.. I don't know more in details, but look like that person understand the thing and not calling this boy anymore.

Hi AKP, I got my phone recharged mistakenly by someone once but for sure I would have returned that money who did it by mistake, unfortunately no one called me for that.I too agree with Sids its vendor who should pay for the mistake not your neighbor.

Hi SJ In our area vendor allows customers to do the same thing.. So its not vendor's mistake either.. Well, and what if that young boy couldn't have that much money for now.. and he also can't tell when he can pay... Anyways look like matter got solved. That person is not calling him any more.

Really sad for this young boy, if his financial conditions is not good, its not easy for him to refund to that user. I don't understand why people blame others for their own mistakes. Well that person will do nothing, as he know its mistake from his side, may be call one or twice, then forgets.

Hi life Yes that boy wasn't in any kind of mistake, still that person was being angry on him.. Its okay if he asked politely to that boy for his money that if he can give him back or not. But surely he can't force him for his mistake. You are right on it.. I think that person is not calling him now. May be he forgets it or realize his mistake..
