South Korean pop artist Psy released the Gangnam style song first time on July 15.2012 Since then It has been very popular around the world right now. Specially many people talking about his dancing style also named as Gangnam style which imitates a horse riding. and also his music video has been the most popular video that got the most of hits ever in youtube.com web history which broke the record of the previous South Indian Music video named "Kolavari di" . What do you think about Gangnam Style? Is it better than Micheal Jackson's style?:)

I am pretty sick of it if I am honest its been overplayed and I don't want to hear it ever again, the radio stations did the same thing to me with cold play and quite a few other bands and songs, they just keep playing the same 5 songs over and over again and they just sicken of me and put me off the band for the future. Micheal Jackson and numerous other artists that came before were unarguably better but since the world is ruled by the media these days whoever they want to be popular will be popular regardless of if they are great or not so great.

Yes I can agree with you on your last part of the comment. Yes MJ's dancing style is unique. However Gangnam style too has been very popular around the world at the moment.

I guess he is talented in his own way but I just wonder how or who dictates who gets chosen for the privilege of being popular these days, it perplexes me to no end.

Well i must say Gangnam style is a catchy dance craze/style. However, no one can beat Michael Jackson since he made good contributions to the music industry he is an iconic legend garnering lots and lots of recognition. We should consider Psy as a starting celebrity on the biz. and will look forward on his rising. :D

It's quirky! It's really nonsense, the video, but a lot of people love watching and hearing it. I like it as well. Even if I really don't understand Korean I was having fun watching it. I'm not really sure how long would it last being popular but it sure is good to have fun nowadays

Oh my GOD.That is the worst song I have ever heard.I wonder how the hell it went into such a viral popularity. The reason I don't like it wa,I could not understand the language and after loads of hype about it,I heard it and not found to be worthy.Above all, this song is played over a thousand times over the radio and internet and I really got very sick of it.Sicker to see his dance.Hate it to the core.No offense gangnam lovers.

Finally I have something to discuss with my South Korean friends down here! I think it's good that South Korea did something like this & maybe the media were right to promote it, but it went a little too far. Commercial TV here had visits from Psy personally & started there own performances. Whole companies trying to promote themselves as "cool", "trendy" or "current" adapted it for their own purposes with their own people. There were so many different versions of it. Did you see the North Korean send-up version? Whoa! Gangnam Style is no comparisson to what MJ did though. GS has everything in one You-Tube clip, but MJ has a style that has constantly evolved as he has been performing for so long. I'm not sure you could cover MJ's style in just one You-Tube clip. We wish Psy every success & hope he can benefit many people all over the world & spend the money wisely.

Gangnam Style and other popular hits right now are all good for a two year period of duration; while those Micheal Jackson, Air Supply, Lionel Richie, ABBA or any songs of the 1980's never fades.
