Black Friday is coming. I have not get any insides of what will be the big sale. Usually we will get it a few days in advance. Has anybody prepared what you are chasing after for boxing day? Anybody have weird, awesome experience shopping on Black Friday. It's so big, people can fight for items. People lining up since morning to get into the store. Share your exprience with Black Friday. Several of my friends even went cross border to Buffalo, midnight, just to stand by in front of the stores. Crazy hey?

Well I only am shopping for two people so I doubt I'll be on the streets Black Friday. Besides people get crazy and act angry for no reason that day. The worst Black Friday experience I've ever had was years ago working at a Best Buy(electronics store). I was supposed to go outside early that morning and give out juice and cookies to the customers. Apparently this made some of them angry for some reason. Most of the people in the line were pretty scary. Then later when the store finally opened I'd end up with six people at once trying to pull me in different directions. I finally ended up standing on a crate and selling products to customers in large groups. I think if I ever work at a crowded store on Black Friday again I'll wear riot gear. I know we all get tired and passionate about those holiday deals but please don't kill anyone including the poor guys who work at those retail stores.

Too many people wanting the best deal...maybe they were tired of waiting for the store to open, they become upset that you have the courage to show outside with snacks they want more. I cant imagine myself in such crowd of angry people I just can stand riots.

OMG, I can't imagine the situation when you were there. I don't know how to stand in front of unpatient people, who get irritated very quickly. It feels like they just want to grab you to get the items. I imagine it's probably like when you were in NY union station, and people coming out from the subway at the same time, rushing through the door, while you are facing the crowd. Olala.. brutal! Maybe you should wear those soccer padding, and hockey helmet.. lol

Yep, I'm preparing for Black Friday. I'm preparing to NOT go out anywhere. I went out one time a few years ago on that day and learned my lesson. I spent 4 hours in line at Toys R Us for a video game. I knew that the game wouldn't be available anywhere after that day and really, really wanted it. So I spent all that time in line for one item!!! Never again. I now make it a point to stay put in my nice comfortable house on Black Friday.

4 hours in line. This is more than waiting lines for roller coaster. I could not imagine how early people going there. It will continue getting earlier and earlier. Some Black Friday items are in limited quantity. So if you are not the first few people, you cant get it. This is what makes people crazy. They need to be the first few people in the front. I think with 4 hours of lining up, you make a good decision to stay at home.

I guess it's difficult to get prepared because of the crazyness happening at that time. People get irritated easily. I don't want to be working in one of the stores, imagine facing angry people..lol

I am definitely prepared. I am prepared to stay home and not go anywhere near any stores. Used to do it, but it's just not worth it. Lines, no parking places, and if you do get a parking place, you can't get back out of the parking lot. Crazy people, hours of waiting...no thank you.

I've never done it before, but I'm thinking about doing it this year, just for the experience. Don't know what item to try to get though...I'll have to look into it!

After a holiday, the last thing I want to do is go shopping. I really don't like to shop unless I'm in the mood. It gets cold and rainy here every year and I can't see myself getting up in the wee hours of the morning to go stand in a line and go shopping when I could be sleeping in.

I went black Friday shopping last year and it was mad crazy. There were a lot of fights at the mall and police had to come break it up etc. I'm not going this year I been doing all of my shopping online so for black Friday I will just shop online like I been doing, it seems to work out that way. I'm almost done Christmas shopping I only have 3 more people to buy for so it shouldn't be to long before I'm done, I'm thinking a few more pay checks and I'll be finished which makes me feel good :).

I am, but seems like alot of stores here in mexico have started thier xmas sales early. yesterday sears had a big 2 day sale start. And next saturday walmart will open 24 hrs. for theirs. Seems alittle early for that. maybe they think people are not going to spend alot at xmas, and need more time to bring in sales money.
