Sleep is something that is needed by our body. And it would be nice if at the time of sleeping we get a beautiful dream. When we wake up, we can still smile thinking about our dreams last night. Is there a way can we do to get a beautiful dream every night? How about you mylotters? Please share your experience ..

I have heard, and tested it and I think it is true...what you think about all day long will determine your dreams. I have dreams and then think the next day...why'd I dream that? and I'd think it through and realize i was thinking or doing that yesterday so it was in my dreams...not what I did or thought, but it was part of the dream. I also know that if you watch a scary show or violent or really "in your face" with anything...that will effect your dreams. Watch a calm show before you fall asleep! Case in point...my husband watches this crap all evening long all the time. The worst the horror the more he likes it. Last night I was here on MyLot and can see/hear the TV from here. It was a horror show and the only part that made me look was a human body with a wild pig's head..grossly exaggerated was the killing person...just slaughtering and blood everywhere etc. Then when I went to bed, I watched "Dr. Quinn, Medicine WOman"...a family oriented series from the 1990's. Very nice show. At the end Sully (the main man character) after being gone for several months, comes back to town at christmas eve and brings the one little boy a wolf puppy...really cute little puppy! But he had it hide under his coat and was all hunched over carrying it so the little boy couldn't see it. My dream? I have no idea or don't remember where I was or anythign about the dream other than I was walking down a short flight of stairs in what seemed to be a house...and this large furry animal, that I thought was a cat...was on my back, under my coat and hair (I have long hair) and it was just throwing up on me constantly and I couldn't get it off. I woke myself up hollering HELP!!! like I was hollering in the dream. I think this morning..why that!?!?! How weird...but then I put the tracks to gether..the scary horror show I saw with the pig headed person..they showed the pig head more than the persons body..and although he wasn't throwing up...he was splattering blood and other body parts all over while he ate his victim and that with the other show where the man hide the puppy under his coat and it was large and very furry...the mind can play tricks or just get so jumbled at the end of a conflicting day...and puts some things together, but mixes them up.... I have had several dreams that "have come true" before. Those were cause I was trying to figure something all day long or I was looking for something and couldn't find it and spent the whole day thinking about it...then as I slept...I think things calmed down and I was able to see things or think of things that I hadn't thought of during the day as my mind was so cluttered...so I dreamed them that night...found the item next day right where it was in the dream!

I think it all starts in the mind. If you can start day dreaming about good things, you will have sweet dreams

You can only have sweet dreams if you are able to manipulate your brains which most people are not able to. So the only way is to face your problems/worries at day time so you won't have to deal with them at night.

I don't think that we can manage to do what we want to have in our dreams. i guess it just goes.but somehow try to make your body relax when sleeping. i think it may help, not just to have a beautiful dream but to have a good sleep. :)

If you think a lot about good or sweet things it will have its way to your subconscios and feed in to your dreams. I like it when I find myself smiling while sleeping.

I don't think that we can be able to be a "director" of our dreams. But I guess, if you sleep having happy thoughts, then you , may have a very peaceful sleep.

hmm to get good sleep and dreams we need to think or have good and beautiful thoughts. Read a good book of your interest or listen to some music of your interest before going to bed. Watch some good movies if at all that interests you. Hope you like .

I don' think there are any tricks for that. My boyfriend never even dreams. For me, a I dream a lot, not necessarily beautiful dreams, but really vivid and crazy, adventurous dream, and I feel glad for having them. It's so cool to remember the dreams, even if I only remember a part of it, and it makes no sense. But sometimes I have bad dreams... not the classic nightmares, but either really vivid action stuff which I don't like (those I usually get when I'm ill plus I watch some action movie or hear bad news on TV)... or rarely I dream stuff that touch me in the heart when I wake up... not necessarily because of the awfulness of the dream itself, but when I wake up, I ask how could I dream something like this. I've already dreamt twice about me in a relationship with other guys (unfamiliar ones) whilst having a fiancé, and that really scared me... but then I realized it's just a dream which has kind of stayed with me from my old persona, and we can't really get those older desires lost in ourselves... and I only love my fiancé :D. But there's no recipe for having the ones we like... but if there was, I probably wouldn't use it, because it would be so predictable.

A sweet dream is having a peaceful mind. There is no need to ponder and mind thinking of something, the moment of relaxing can bring a sweet nappy dream. Would you agree?

Hi. When you have a good sleep, dreams are sure to come. But the main reason for dreams are something different. Dreams are resulted due to various brain activities. But when you have sound sleep, you may not see any dreams.

The dreams the majority of the times depends how was your day, of what you did, of what are your worries. Try don´t let problems to next day and your sleep and dreams will be sweet. Have good Dreams....
