Hi everyone, Its really depressing for me to write for me, soon as i accept the task or the offer my mind switches off i just cant write and whatever i manage to write is just so much worse than my usual self that i feel like i should just stop writing. Why should i write for money, why should i write some stupid shop or some thing so different to me, something that my head doesnt even process completely? why?

Writing is a passion. You just have to dedicate yourslef and have a passion in writing. You can never actually get rich in writing. Earning from it is just a bonus. The whole idea of writing is to express oneself's idea and opinion. Writing something that you don't have interest in and just doing it for money will not be truly successful, you will earn money for a while but you will soon get tired of it and be depressed. But always stay positive and just enjoy writing.

You are right olivetree, i've never been passionate about writing as much as i should have been i know i love writing its rather a compulsion of my brain rather than myself. My thought bid me convey them in form of something and i find writing quiet easy and sometime natural like speaking and i find its satisfying and calming to write but never i have been passionate its like a medicine whenever i feel sick i write and then i feel calm that is all there is to it, nothing more is it my stupid notion that i went to earn something out of it? i donno well thanks for advice

Welcome to the club salma07 this is the reason I don't just except writing task because they may seem or sound easy. What you speak of is the so-called writer's block which I call lazy writer's syndrome. Like everything else in life you need a plan to have any kind of success, so unless you know what you are going to do first then you're setting yourself up for failure. Just try to plan what you going to write about then just do it and don't think about how boring the subject or topic may be. Find better ways to construct your articles, such as faster research techniques, brainstorming for ideas etc. Learning ways to get the job done will eliminate this affliction.

Hi Salma, I do not accept those writing tasks too. I do write for money. The difference is that I write about the things I like. When I feel Monday blue, I write about Monday blue. After I finish the article, I will publish online. The money always come. It may not be enough to make me quit my job forever, but the feeling that someone reads, and some one else pays for it is good. That is the way I like to write for money. Glad to say that the earnings have exceeded several thousand dollars over the past few years. The money serves as motivation for me.
