Good morning fellow mylottters. I woke a bit late than the usual this morning. When I entered the bathroom and switch on the light, it was busted and don't light up at all no matter how many time I tried.Since no time and will be late to work, I don't bothered to get new bulb to replace and instead slide the window curtain for the light outside came in that made the bathroom brighter and continue to take a bath. After taking a bath, I told to my dad so the next one who will use the bathroom will don't have no light experience while taking a bath. Do you have the same experienced folks?

Yes, a lot of times already. This is not only because of a busted bulb but because of power outage which usually happens in the morning around 9-12 noon. that's the time I take a bath because I go to work in the afternoon. Our bathroom doesn't have any windows so it's really very dark if there is no light. I usually bring a flash light with me when ever there is no light in the bathroom.

Oh yes, I too have tried using candle but I am afraid it will turn off if I splash some water in it or if a small air will turn it's light off.

Oh I hate power outrage/shortage cause there are lots of things we cant do. Sometimes I used candle if it is really dark inside especially if I dont see where the flashlight is.

The light in our bathroom won't turn on since last night. I was about to take a bath bringing a flashlight with me when my sister asked me to get the bulb from the garage and switch it for the one in the bathroom. But I remember before that I had done that.

I could also use flashlight that time or even candle but time is running out so I juts continue bathing with the help of the light coming from the outside through the small window in the bathroom.

Our bathroom only has a small window so I could not depend on the light coming from it.

For some reason, I find it hard taking a shower when the bathroom light is busted. Although there's a window in which outside light could pass through, it's still dim for me. Each time this happens, I immediately replace the bulb. We always keep an extra for situations like this. But we also have those LED lights that we could use in case we ran out of replacement bulbs.

Thats good that you have extra light to replace the busted one. I dont ask if we have extra bulb that time since I was a bit late to work already that time so I just continue taking a bath that time with the help of light coming from the window.

Well, the light in our bathroom is not working as well. It also got busted a long time ago and I still wasn't able to have it fixed. Anyway, we have gotten used to the semi dimness since we just have the door slightly open when we use it.

It was already fixed at the moment so every thing seems to be back to normal now in the bathroom.

It is fine to do such scenario, the matter of using initiatives in times like this. We can survive without being so delicate in life. That's a cowboy style attitude.

There was a major storm here few years back when the power was off for three days. We used the bathroom with flash light when it was dark outside. During day light, the sun pretty much brighten up our bathroom and no need for any lights on.

Oh yes it could really help a lot.I was at a hurry that time to avoid getting late at work so instead of finding something that could bring light inside, I just open the window curtain in the bathroom so light could enter inside.

I have a small bathroom within our bedroom. I don't know with the contractor that built our house, but he placed the switch near the door of our bedroom, together with all the lights. So I need to go there to light up the bathroom. My 2-year old son already can reach the switches by going up the bed, and reach for them. There are no windows in my bathroom by the way. One morning I was already inside and started to take a bath when suddenly the lights went out. I shouted for assistance to turn on the lights again. But I just heard my son's voice and realized that he was the culprit. I asked him to turn it on again but instead I found him giggling. What I did was I opened the bathroom door just a little to prevent from splashing water in the bedroom. And continued with my bath. But it's really uncomfortable taking a bath without lights because you can't see if you have cleaned yourself well.

oh yeah quite uncomfortable since we don't see that much things that we have to clean, just so in a hurry to be done since it has no light inside.Since I was running out of time and avoiding getting late at work, I was really in a hurry that time.

Our bathroom have this window facing the sun from the time it rises up until noon so we really don't have any need for a light when we bathe in the morning, unless of course it's still too dark outside. Anyway, I have experienced taking a shower without any light on because in this case, the switch is busted. I did, however, light up a scented candle and used the feeble candlelight so I wouldn't trip and I can see my shower essentials.

Oh I know some people like you who used to have scented candles in their bathroom that could somehow help in this kind of emergency and gives some aroma scent while taking a bath or shower.
