Computer reservations

When I need to use a computer at the library. If I am going to a small library, I will go to that library and make a reservation for the day I go. You can make reservations for up to 2 days in advance. When I am not at the library I am at right now, I will be at the library that has more computers. So I do not have to make reservations at that library except for Sundays. When you go to a small library, just because it says that computers are available, that does not always mean computers will be. If you have only 4 computers available for adults, go to computers that are available. One time, my fiancee and I were running late. This female took time away from me and almost cost me my first session. By the time she got up, I had obnly 2 minutes left before I lost my first session that day. If you see a computer reserved, give that person the time to get there instead of trying over and over, unsuccessfully trying to logon on to that person's session, taking their time away from them and costing them their session. So, instead of complaining, make reservations instead of showing up thinking your going to use a computer just like that.

I know a few people who use the computer at the local library, but it is something that I have never done. I relay love computers so naturally it is important for me to have my own. I usually take my laptop with me when I fly abroad on holiday, which can be very useful. Not only does this make it unnecessary for me to use a cybercafé, it also allows me the option of storing a few films on the laptop beforehand so that I can watch them in the evenings. Surely you must have a computer? It would be very difficult to use Mylot if you depend on a library computer.

I do have my own laptop. I use the computer at the library because I need to get things printed out and there are times I have trouble with certain sites on my laptop.

That makes perfect sense, so now I can understand exactly why you would visit the library. I assume that you realise why I was so confused, using Mylot via such a restricted medium would be very impractical.

I bought my laptop so I can work since all you get is 2 hours at any library which makes it hard to get any work done at all on any site

Hi friend, online reservations are introduced to reduce the time waste and help the passengers, but some times we are in need to face some inconvenience with this kind of reservations as you mentioned. Any way, online reservation is one of the essential thing in this days, the person who is working with it must be smart and do the work properly to avoid failures

Does it have a control or something? why did it happend? Why did the librarian allowed her to use the computer that is supposedly reserved. Yes, that's quite annoying specially if you also have schedule to follow or deadline to meet. You made your reservations in advance because you know that you will use it. Such an irresponsible, insensitive and disrepectful person she is. You should talk to the librarian and tell her that if it is reserved it means it is reserved for that period and even if no one is using it, it should be for the person who reserved it.
