passing the board exam!!!

yesterday, my younger brother was rushing to go to my mother's room. i was surprised to here him saying "I passed", and suddenly i heard him crying, from my room. when i went out, i saw him hugging my mom and both of them were bursting with tears of joy. i was happy, and in a moment, a thought crossed my mind, how could this be when my brother wasn't actually that studious. i even saw his grades from his TOR and most were failing grades. i was so surprised, thankful, happy, and curious. now he's a criminologist.

That is excellent, I am sure your family are real proud of him, you too otherwise you wouldn't have posted this discussion. I think he surprised you all, we all have hidden talents that can be utilized and indeed he found his talent. I wish him every success, that's a mighty fine career, being a criminologist! I am not very good academically, although I did get my NVQ3 in childcare which I was quite proud of, considering I left school with little to no qualifications. Thanks for sharing.

I too passed the teacher's board exam 2 years ago without even reviewing and my TOR too is not really good to look at. I just told myself that if I fail the exam then I would just take it again. I didn't even prayed to God that he let me pass the exam, I just told him, "Thank you God and guide me today". During the exam I was so relax and didn't worry. I answered all the questions right away and I didn't even bother to read the questions all over again, I just read the questions once and answered then went out of the room. I think the way I felt during the exam and the thanks to God prayer contributed to my passing it. Until this day I still am so thankful and considered it a miracle literally.

Well, grades in undergrad school does not really determine the outcome of the board exam. There are those students who have failing grades or low grades in college but are top notchers in board exams.

Never under estimate the capabilities of other people. Some smart students in school can never make it for the first board exam. I had seen some smarty guys in school who are not good in practical application of their chosen field. We just need to be happy for them, I don't believe in luck when taking boar exams too.
