Saw this movie with Angelina Jolie in the lead role on telly last night. It is a fabulous movie and at times I was on the edge of my seat and could not take my eyes off the screen... ...but the ending???? Shocking! There had better be a sequel.

It hasn't been out that long, maybe a year or so. This is an intelligent and skilled Angelina, much like the Lara Croft role but the setting is of course quite different. The scenes in the White House will blow you away. So saying, it also shows her character to have a soft, loving, vulnerable side.

It's indeed one of the best Angelina Jolie movies so far that she had starred in! I like the fact, the story evolves Angelina in a role of being villain turned hero. It's a nice action film packed with cool stunts and fight scenes.

I've seen it long time ago so I can't remeber the end of the movie, but I remember there was a moment about after the middle of the movie when I got really annoyed... she is good, now she is bad, now she is again good, then suspected to be bad. I admired her for saving that dog ;)) Anyway, I've seen better movies and also movies more stupid than this, so in the end it was acceptable.

Obviously, you did not understand the deeper meanings of the movie. Also, it's not a good thing to reveal the plot too much because there may be those reading this who have not seen the movie. If you are going to reveal the plot, it's polite to head your discussion/response "SPOILER ALERT"

I haven't revealed anything, it is presented from the trailer that she is suspected to be a double agent, and the dog is not such a relevant part of the action.

I remember watching this film with my father, it's not often I will sit and watch a film with my father, but I had nothing else doing and he had already seen it before and said it was well worth watching, when he told me the name of the film, I thought what a funny title, but I decided to give it a go and I am so glad I did, you are right it was a fabulous movie, with lots of twists and turns and a surprising ending. You would never expect it to turn out how it did. I love films like that, they are so few and far between, if it hadn't of been for fathers recommendation I wouldn't have bothered with it.

Those twists and turns were so well done too. Nothing in sequence so nothing expected. The way the plot developed was brilliant and kept me on my toes mentally. I also loved the way the characters developed and for this reason I bhope to see the movie again one day.

Yes, absolutely, I could quite happily watch this film again, with the long Winters evenings, it would be good to snuggle up with a hot drink and some snacks and enjoy the film a second time round!

Its was a great movie but I'm pretty sure I have seen 2 different endings to this movie. One I liked the other I didn't. The one they show on tv I didn't like the onen on the DVD I bought I do. So check on line for alternate endings to this movie. I'm hoping for a sequal also.

Hi beaniefanatic13...now I find that very interesting. I'll have to give this info some serious thought. Do I want to know if there are alternative endings and if so, do I want to find out what they are? I think I'll just try and get hold of the DVD.

I have seen this movie with my husband some years back while we were doing some movie marathon one weekend. It is very touching despite the hard edge action in the movie. As always, Angelina Jolie managed to portray the agent in a daredevil way. You're right, I'm also wondering if she's able to track down the people who set her up, the others out there that's going to come after her or wreck the same trouble.

In my mind, there was one big question that went unanswered and I will not reveal that here as it might spoil the movie for others who have not yet seen it. It is that question and the way it ended that ;leads me to think that there will indeed, be a sequel.

It is actually not a bad film - I enjoyed it. The plot is full of twist and turns. I believe the sequel is still in the development stage, But unless Angie signs up It is not likely to happen.

DID YOU...my dearest MsTickle take your "nasty" pills tonite??? DANG..now you have me all intrigued, and I am sure by the time that it arrives on this rock (Island) I will have forgot all about it! Just another GOOD reason for me to sign up for Netflix, and I could stay in tune with the times! I see from the other comments it is a relatively current release! Sometimes, like this, I have second thoughts about living in the "boonies!" How is your summer "down under?" Nice to hear from you!

Gosh pergy, what makes you think I took nasty pills?? Actually, someone said they saw the movie a couple of years ago and I thought it was more recent than that...but I live in the boonies too so what do I know? Pergy dear, it isn't even summer yet and already we've had a few scorchers. We have meant to have received rain several times recently but it goes around us or straight over the top and only gives uys a few drops. The garden looks awful. Even the weeds are dying and my tanks are running out of water. I have town water but that is not for drinking or cooking or watering my precious verandah plants.

We are getting a lot of strong winds too, very unseasonably too I might add and yes, they are creepy but, touch wood, it's been a while since our power went out. Earthquakes and tsunamis? Up where you are? Ouchy!! That sounds terribly frightening but I still envy your rock life.

Just "razzing" you my dear friend! This is rather late for me to be up...it's 11:25 p.m. here at I am usually long into "noddy" time by this hour..BUT there are really HIGH winds here tonite..and it is a bit creepy..just waiting for the power to go out! We are well into the winter doldrums now...hovering around 0C at nite..6-8 daytime! Truly sorry to hear about your "arid" weather...our summer was like that..and we set all kinds of "drought" records, and like you, my garden truly suffered! Not the greatest bounty this year, and we had a "rocking-rolling" earthquake about 4 weeks ago that hit 7.5 on the 'ol Richter scale! Makes one think about how well their larder is stocked, as those "shakers" are the kinds that put a hold on our Ferry service. I am so glad that I didn't buy waterfront, when I choose to live on this rock...my greatest fear is the tsunami's! Mother Nature is keeping us on our toes...

Dear MsTickle Of course, I remember that movie. Angelina appeared on the posters dressed just like her popular ones - the Tomb Raider - and that had created all my interests to watch it. But then, as it did not have that big a popularity, the theaters here wouldnt show it. So I asked my DVD guys if they could help me and they in fact got me one to watch... but it was a pirated one not that great quality in print. But I loved the movie. Great action scenes and Angelina looking great and maintained so well. (I recall she had delivered her twins some months back before the move shoot.) I wished this had a sequel but I guess, Ms. Jolie has some other important things at hand and she wasnt available for the sequel.

Hi thesids, ntsy. Angelina was just perfect for Lara croft, wasn't she? She was awesome in that role. It is the same in this role, so matter of fact about being extremely fit , intelligent and well trained. Other actors would show guts and determination but Angelina gives these roles more class that takes them to a higher level.

Your discussion has got me provoked again and I am going to the rental store to grab the DVDs for Tomb Raider.... and also look out for a better Version of Salt... or let me YouTube it first... maybe someone put up a better version already... And yes dear, I do agree, no one could have carried the Tomb raider Chronicles better than Angelina. It felt, as if she was born to play Ms. Lara Croft... the Physique and the Looks... ravishing If only, I was Brad Pitt

I am a fan of Angelina, but I've never heard of this movie. I know she doesn't act much these days as she is more into directing, which is a shame. Those lips! As you have recommended it I shall look out for it and give you my verdict (if I remember) I am disappointed with most movies these days and could do with a decent edge-of-your-seat thriller to restore my faith. P.S. Please don't tell me the ending!

Like you I wait for it to appear on the tv. Is it a christmasy type film? If so I might be lucky and it will shown soon. I've had enough of White Christmas so it would be nice to see something newer for a change. Oh yes, her eyes! Her two best features Or maybe not....

I'm not a James Bond fan. Too many characters has spoiled it for me and I feel that it's all a bit corny and over the top. I didn't get that feeling from Salt. I had the idea it was close to reality. Yeah, she is great!

when i heard about this movie name. I felt it was silly. But when i watched this movie in star movies. It was wonderful full of action. Only Angelina is capable of doing such a movie. The movie has good music and suspense also

I agree, the name of the movie was a bit ordinary even though it is her name. You're right about Angelina, she's all class in this sort of movie. I must say though, I didn't notice the music, hopefully I will get an opportunity to watch again and I will take notice of the soundtrack.

Yes, I'm afraid I have to agree with you. No way could anyone do those jumps and not sustain some soreness and bruising at least. A body could certainly not function normally straight away as the character in the movie. I stll enjoyed it though and Angelina and her stunt double and the director certainly did a fantastic job.

Hi MsTickle! From your description, I will definitely be watching for this movie. I recently seen a movie that I thought had better have a sequel too. It was "I AM Number 4" Now when I first started watching it, I thought it was a teen flick...which it kind of is. It was sci fi though and I like some of that so I watched on. It ended up keeping me watching but when it ended, I thought they had better make another one too.

Its a film i have been meaning to watch for a while i have got it on blu ray but never really got around to watching it.The only time i watched it i fell asleep after the first ten minutes or so.Though from what i saw it looked like it would develop into a decent film.I will probablly watch it when i go home for christmas.Im really surprised at myself for not watching the film as i was really excited about watching the film when i asked for it for christmas. If i dont watch it when i go home for christmas ill take it back to uni with me and me and the lads will watch it one night. We usually get together and watch at least one film a week. This week we watched Ali G In da house.

I've had movies on my hard drive and not got around to watching them for ages. It seems there is always something else to do. I usually watch TV movies with half an eye while I work on my computer or making my jewellery. Then at night, I watch DVDs on my portable player next to my bed. I fall asleep so it can take a week or so for me to see the whole movie. Hope you get to watch it soon. It's a good movie.

I remembered watching the above movie during its premiere. Angelina Jolie was a so-called double agent for Russia and US. (if I recall it correctly). Then she betrayed the Russia, but how the movie ends I cannot recall. Could you enlighten me again on the ending part? Yes, the movie is really full of suspense and many chasing scenes too. I am a big fan of Angelina Jolie's movie. I watched "Tourist' too where she acted with Johnny Depp.

I've seen this movie a few times on TV too. And I also think that her jumping off that helicopter in the end just tells you that there should be a sequel coming. But that movie's a few years old and we wonder why Part 2 hasn't come out yet. Maybe Angelina already said NO?!
