Tears ran down my face, because...

My boss is twenty six years old young man, sometimes we are friends. His mother got stomach cancer recently, very early stage. I feel really sad about this, and I do pray for her. She is about 50 years old, and she is a great woman. She always considers for other people, not herself. She loves her son so much, she did really a lot to help his little brother. Why her?! I could not sleep well after I knew this, and tears ran down my face, I do know what will happen next: to the family, and to our small company... God please help to cure her!

Things like this is really hard to understand, it causes a lot of why's that only HIM could answer. I know how you feel specially that you happen to know her, and since her son is your boss, so you feel that they are part of your family. Four years ago, I have a friend who'd been diagnosed with a liver cancer. We were not that close but I really prayed that the Lord would spare his life and give him more years to come. But my prayers was not granted for reasons that HE only knows. The moment I go told that he went with the Lord I can't help but cried the hardest, that was the first time I cried so hard for a not so close friend of mine. But there is still hope with your boss's mom, just keep on prying co's God definitely hears prayers. God bless to you and your boss!

I am so sorry for your boss's mother. I am sorry for you as you are friends with him. All we can do is pray that she gets cured. just always have good thoughts and prayers for her. That's all we can do us leave it up to HIM.

If God can do anything, then why does he let innocent children be killed in Gaza, why does he let good, innocent people suffer? Why did he make my nan suffer for 10 years with cancer? Why does he let the atrocities that we see every day happen on his so called Earth? There is no one up there who listens. I lost my faith in God when I was 15 years old. You only have to see what happens when you turn on the news!

Welcome to Mylot, it is sad that with all this modern technology we still haven't found a real cure for cancer, cancer is non-discriminative anyone at any age can get cancer. I lost my dear nan to cancer, she fought a 10 year battle against it but in the end cancer took her life, I thought there was a God there who would help her, but no she suffered, I stopped believing in God, how could a God make people suffer and not listen?

I wish her hospital/ treatment center has the modern equipments and cancer experts to provide scientific treatment on her stomach cancer, it may not be the end of her life knowing the fact she has cancer now, if the illness is at its beginning stage, she may still stand a high probability of getting a cure, just don't give up your hope on her yet, she need to stand strong, and keep fighting, you should provide all the emotional supports to her if you can, other than just let your tear running down your face and offer her prayer.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that your bosses mother has been diagnosed with cancer and I too hope that she will be able to recover from her illness. I do know that her prognosis is much better than it could be based on the fact that it was caught in an early stage. With that said, I will never be able to understand why it is that such bad things happen to very good people, but it does seem to be the case that this is the way that things work out overall.

There are a lot of things going on in our lives, the purpose, we do not know. But what I know is that, everything that God gives us has a purpose. We just need to find out about it. If a person got sick, we shouldn't question God for it. We should provide care to that sick person and pray hard that he may surpass this trial in his life.

I am very sorry to hear this bad news, however, we must be brave for what circumtances we may have. In some other way, she still lucky because they found out her illness at a very early stage as you said, there's still cure to it. Compare to my late father. They found out his illness at stage 4... He already passed away 3 months ago and still hurt to accept knowing that I cannot hug, talk, etc... with him anymore! The only thing we can do is pray for the healing and acceptance.

I am so sorry to hear that. I will be praying for her. Cancer of any kind is such an upsetting and scary thing to go through. The entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.
