My little chi has MS

My little dog was recently diagnosed with MS. The Vet told me that it is very rare and in his 22 year of practice he only had one case with MS.
My Baby is now on Prednezone that makes her eat again but it harms her liver. When we take her of the prednezone it takes two days and then she can't walk by herself anymore.
The Vet told me that she will die eventually he can't say how liver failure or MS.
The thought was there to put her down,but the Vet told me that she is not suffering yet.
My question is did you had a dog with the disease ? And what did you do?
She is only one year old

That is so sad, if she isnt in pain then I wouldnt put her down. But all my animals are my babies so I would be devistated if I had to make that choice. I know the last few years I have been going through a lot with my Patches. I have spent so much at the vets and all the tests come back negative. Have you tried over the counter even taking the prenisone for so long, and pver the counter. I know a lady that comes into my work, also buys some natural liquid and she swears her dog could barely walk and had MS. I know Patches has been on Prenisonse in the past but I try not to put her on it.

Yes we tried now the 5th medication accept the prednezone
And every time she becomes worse and even when we put her back on it she never recovers like she was before we took her off
That's why I am scared to try much more cause it only gets worse

I know it does break down the iummune system. do you give her any over the counter or natural supplements?. I know my Patches she was on a multi vitmin , special high vitamin, salmon oil, and probitocs which seem to help. When she was on prenisone I found she was the same, and ended up getting sickier and on antibitocs for awhile.
