I'm not sure whether any of you are familiar with this Nickelodeon early 2000s cartoon that lasted about 5 seasons. It starred Arnold as a great, honest, advice-giving friend who lived in a boarding house with his crazy but fun grandparents and other boarders in urban New York attending "P.S. 118". He had a best friend named Gerald and a host of friends he attended school with daily including Phoebe, Sid, Eugene, Rhonda, Nadine, Harold, Stinky, Curly, Lila, Ruth, Lorenzo, Big Patty and secret admirer Helga Pataki. Helga torments him and teases him constantly, however secretly she has an undying unconditional love for him that she dares not disclose, however she comes awfully close on more than one occasion. Arnold's daily life consists of saving his friends from less than social situations and yet trying to live his own life as a regular kid. He has no special powers or anything, but this urban cartoon is guaranteed to keep anyone intrigued just because it has a very interesting storyline. I LOVED this show as a pre-teen, teenager and I still do now as an adult! If you have never seen it before, I definitely recommend catching a few episodes on Youtube or Netflix!! It's definitely worth the watch!!

I had to look this up when you said early 2000's. It was actually the mid to late 90's and early 2000's. I thought I'd seen it when I was still a kid, and I had. I do remember it but it started airing when i was getting to be a pre-teen and so I was kind of gearing away from cartoons altogether...

The series itself started in 1996 lasting successfully until 2000. There is even a Hey Arnold! movie! It's a great series along with a few others that came out around its time, but for some reason Arnold reminds me of Doug in a way lol. I was watching it a little earlier, I am now on Season 4 out of 5. I haven't yet come across an episode I don't remember yet and I will be shocked if I happen to do so! Thanks for commenting!!

I liked Arnold but I did like Doug more, I remember watching it a lot when I was a kid. It wasn't too long ago that I was watching episodes of Doug again. Enjoy watching the series again. I think the character I hated the most was the girl in pony tails, but then no one really liked her anyway.

I loved this show so much when I was younger. All the characters were so unique and it was genuinely funny. Helga was psycho funny but we all knew she would do anything for Arnold.

I honestly don't think that there was an episode of Hey Arnold that I've never seen. This was a cartoon that came out when I was in my late teens and early twenties, but I really liked the fact that the situations in the cartoon were a lot more true to real life than many of the cartoons that came out during that period of time. In fact, I have to say that all of the Nicktoons from that era were well made cartoons that were worth my time to watch. So much better than the cartoons that come out now.

This is one of my favorite cartoons and I still watch it until now. I'm upset when they stopped the show and I heard that Nickelodeon also canceled Hey Arnold The Jungle Movie, I like the movie version when Helga secretly helped Arnold to save the neighborhood and when Arnold figure out the person who helped him through cellphone is actually Helga she made a confession that she loves him, I'm sure the Jungle Movie would be as great as the previous movie. It's been years since they stopped the show but many fans still love this show, I joined a group called petition to save The Jungle Movie, hopefully Nickelodeon and Craig Bartlett going to release the Jungle Movie soon.
