Yesterday I was purchasing the sari from Amaravati a great city for shopping in Vidharbh. I asked some danger question to the shop keeper then they laughed on me. When my decision was final for purchasing sari after choosing I say him please check the sari damage or good. He replied madam more costly sari never damaged. My sari cost was 2500 and 1500. I said no uncle you cant say this I notice many times even the costly is also damaged and then you are not ready to return it. Then they checked it and give me. Do you check the cloth or purchase directly. I am uploading photo and same sari I purchased. Total 3 sari purchase on different designs.

Hi Surekha! It is always better to ensure that the item be it Sari or any other dress material, you are buying is not damaged. once you have taken the Sari etc. in your home it gets difficult to come to shop again and return or exchange it. We spend our hard earned money so it becomes our duty that item we are buying is in perfect condition. we also check such thing before finalizing the deal. Good discussion.

Sir you are right if once we purchase the things then it is very hard to go back for exchanging. We spend our time and money both so check before purchasing is good thanks to accept my view.

One should always be checking for defects or any tear while purchase clothes. Clothes can be defective whether they are expensive or cheap. You did a right thing in asking the shopkeeper to check. The saree looks pretty. You should have uploaded a picture of you wearing the saree. I am sure you will look pretty in this saree.

surekha: Hope you are very happy after the purchase of sarees. good. it is advisable to check fully before purchasing. yesterday i bought a wired mouse for my laptop. on fixing it did not work. then i took it to the shop and the shopkeeper pressed on top and it became alright. so it is advisable to check saree before purchasing. I hope the shopkeeper was calm when you raised this query.

Personally when it comes to purchasing articles of clothing it is smart to check the item out when getting ready to buy it for loose buttons or rips tears stains etc as the worse thing to do is buy something and get it home and then find a problem with the material

I seldom check for damage when the cloths are new. I trust the shops that sold them. So far I have been quite lucky in my purchases.

of course I always did. Not only with clothes but with other things. I always check things that I purchase before having it wrap on the go. I don't want to end up returning or going back to the store if there's problem or damaged.

I always check things which I buy be it a cloth or anything. You never know if there are damges. Damages comes from handling, etc. Ohh, I would like to have another sari! Sari is seldom available here. I have one that was given by a niece who went to another city for a short visit. I will buy one even if its a second hand if there will be available at a secongd hand store here

yes of course we check it, its me who go shopping mostly in our home. Most of my mother's saris are bought by me. My mother don't like shopping at all.she says that she gets confused what to buy and what not to. so she avoid it most of the times .So i am the one who purchase saris for my mom. I do check and ask the sales man to open and show the sari fullysome are really irritating ,if they do so i wont go there again.hehe. So surekha you bought total 5 saris ,good then where are the pictures of others saris. The one you uploaded is really nice.

sureka, your activity is good, we must always check a lot before buying a cloth, my wife is also in your sort, she always check the clothes before buying it. costly clothes also contain damages, some shops never take back the sold goods, so we must be careful and check a lot before buying the thing.

Until the money leaves your hand, you are in control.Do check what you are buying because there are many chances that even the costliest of the goods may have a small damage. If you return any stuff, while they do not question in the big stores where they accept returns, there is a chance to comment that you should have checked your purchase for defects in many others. Happy Shooping....
