Hi friend, good to hear about your decision, you are right, it is useless in creating topics without commenting back. So follow your plan and start low topics, read out the replies and give your comments based on the reply. We must give importance to the persons whoever place their reply in our topic and comment to show that we read their reply and give importance to them

Hi friend! That is a wise decision. It is better to start a few discussion and make time to comment back rather than starting a lot of discussion but failed to reply to those who shared their ideas on our posts. Have a nice day!

I was wondering where my "New Topic" bar went. I made one new post and have commented on a few others. Do you know what the exact limits are? Do you have to respond to a certain amount of people before you can make new posts? And is there a daily limit on new posts and/or commenting on other posts? Thanks for bringing this up, I hope someone can help :)

Ok I found it, the "new discussion" tab is at the very top right above the "MyLot" logo.

Akamarukei, even if you comment two weeks later it is still appreciated. You see that Hatley is 87 and is very busy in here. But sooner or later she gets back to just about all her responders. Just don't make so many discussions that you are overwhelmed. And commenting is another way to earn in mylot. When I respond and don't get a comment, after a few times I don't bother with that person's discussions anymore. And I know there are other members who do the same. But you should make the time to comment. Good luck!

My English is better only because I am American. It's my first (and only) language! I've read many times in here that participating in mylot has helped foreign speaking members improve their English. I read somewhere why the star #'s drop sometimes but I can't remember what it was. Don't worry, it will go up again. And thank you for the friend request.

Yeah i hope it will up again. What happen if the star drop to 0? I never see people get 0 but i just want to ask.

Most response actually are the same so I feel like I'm being unfair to other people whose comments I won't be able to answer. But I read all the response, That's for sure :) But I should make an effort to answer all of them/

The reason many responses are all the same is because many people don't bother to read what others have written before them. That's why it's in the guidelines to read the other responses before you respond. I always feel sorry for some authors who have to read the same responses over and over and then try to make a different comment on each one. Admin deletes duplicate discussions, I think they should also delete duplicate responses. I know a lot of people aren't going to like me for saying that but then again probably no one will read it. I don't start discussions but I think if I did I would rate all the duplicates with the ! rating and ask admin to delete them as duplicates. When you get a reputation for not commenting on your responses there are some people who will stop responding to your discussions. Many members, myself included, feel it's rude not to comment. Even if you have to go back a week or two later, a comment is still appreciated. Plus you earn more and sometimes you can get a conversation going back and forth with someone. That's how I reach payout every month even without posting discussions. And I read all responses before I put in mine.

oh thanks about that. but like I told you if you see my profile I have no much discussions yet. Sometimes if I get bored and don't find interesting topic to comment on I start my own discussion then go to sleep and leave it there posted. I never thought that this number is remarkable okay. You can do it though too. Thanks you motivate me to be more active in here LOL

Good idea. If you think you cannot stay long here to comment back to all responses, better not to start tons of topic. I saw few members who keep starting a lot of topic but never comment back to every responses that they receive. I never start more than 2 topic a day to make sure that I can attend to all responses that I receive.

Yeah it's true. I see some people start 10 discussion but never comment back especially new member. Maybe they think more respond they get more earning they get.

Commenting back to the discussions are an essential part of Mylot discussion. In fact a discussion is successful only if you respond to the Mylot members comment. I rarely start a discussion, but I always try to response back as soon as someone replies to my discussion.

Yeah when we give opinion of course we want to know if our opinion is good or not or can help that person that why the comment needed. That is discussion.

Limiting your discussions to a manageable number is a very wise decision. Too many new members rush to make a lot of discussions and have very little time left to actually manage their discussion properly. Do not worry too much if it takes time to work through the responses because there is no real urgency involved. As long as you gradually work through them you will be making progress, so if there are 20 responses you can comment on a few and return later to comment on a couple more. If it is a popular discussion and responses are being commented on then nobody is going to be concerned if it takes some time to get a comment back. Attempting to complete everything in one visit can be a chore, whereas Mylot is intended to be enjoyment.

well you don't have to respond back to every comment you receive in your discussions. Sure, it gets you a lot more points but to be honest, I think it's better to produce something of quality and depth than to just write anything for the sake of giving a response. If you cannot think of anything that might contribute to the discussion just don't respond and don't worry about it. I'm sure that if you start a discussion that you have a strong opinion about and someone comments on that you'll be able to write something back. If you really want to respond you could always thank the person for their input and tell them whether you agree or disagree with what they've said.

Yeah i try to comment people respond with a good quality comment. I dont want to use a simple comment like thanks, ok, thank you. I want people happy with my comment. :)

It's happen such things my friends and specially when you are new. Visit some of your friends post and read how they have responded back to those people response. I am sure when you can take part in the discussion on other person post same way you can respond back to the discussion other members have made on your post. Be cool and go ahead to answer the responses you have received on your post. Unless and until you try it out you won't find the solution for what you think

Yeah that why i not post a lot of discussion because i want to focus people respond 1 by 1 and comment in their respond. If i not comment back that mean i not understand with his/her respond or i dont have any idea.
