The next expansion is university

I remember University is like the 1st expansion of sims 2 but in case of sims 3 its going to be like the 10th episode or expansion of sims 3. I dont know if its going to be similar to sims 2 where our teenagers can go to college and live in a dorm but I am 50/50 when it comes to this expansion. Part of me is excited because I love University in sims 2 but part of me is worried because this expansion may have new glitches and annoying features.
I mean the attraction system cause problems in Seasons. another rumor about University is that sims 3 university may introduce mermaids and bigfoot to the game.

Mermaids?!?!?! Oh, I want mermaids!!! 
.... ahem. Sorry. Well, we already have fairies and unicorns, the only favorite mythical creature I'm missing is my mermaids. I'd probably slam $40 down on it just for mermaids. Even if it made the game glitchy. And I hated everything else. And it caused more problems with the attraction system, which I also hate.
I didn't see what University was like in Sims 2 since I'm a Sims 3-born simmer. What kinds of features were in it? Was it a good expansion?

I also love mermaid and fairies , I played all the sims ever made with all expansion loyal fan lol .
The sims 2 university had scholarship , and different dorms option , you chose what you want your sim to study . A lot more feature it was a nice game playing experience .

Silverfox, that does sound like fun. I like that they add new creatures to the Sims! I'm a fairly new fan myself.
CaptAlbert, woohoo with your teachers gets you a better grade? 
So much for encouraging students to work hard. 
But I guess if we're playing the Sims we're not exactly working hard... Having a college for Sims to go to sounds fun though.

Sims 2 University..... well if you send your teens to University they will turn into young adults (basegame sims 2 dont have young adults), You wont need to make your sims cook, because there is a lunch lady in the dorm, Young adults are college students that will live in a dorm. You can make teens from different households live in a dorm. You can also try to join Praternities, Sororities and secret societies.
College students can get an A+ grades if they woo hoo with those ugly professors. Sims 2 university have zombies.
I wonder what will be the feautures of the mermaids and how would they work.

When will they release the sims 3 university , I would really love to play it . The only problem would be what you mention the amount of glitch we will have to go through.
I would really wonder why bigfoot and mermaid in that expansion but I guess every expansion have some creature still lol and mermaid sound cute .

I dont know when is the release of University but EA already annouce the release of "sims 3 ,70's 80's and 90's" which is a stuff pack with clothes from those decades. That stuff pack is much more better than diesel and Katy Perry.

Wow I never knew that Sims has a lot of expansion sets. I am really not into it but I do enjoy the Sims 2 before but then I guess there came a time I got tired already. Now, I think they have added some story behind the game to make the game more interesting to everyone.

I will install this expansion if I wont see complaints on its first month. seasons have so many complaints and I have to fix the problems my self because EA have a bad customer service.
