Windows 8

I want to know more about windows 8 so will upgrade to windows 8. I want to knowledge about operating system.

As I see Windows 8 is really good... for tablets. It's the best thing for tablets since well tablets. You have the software of a os and a mobile all in one. This is revolutionary. The thing about it is that there is really no big diffrences from windows 7 and 8 because its pretty much the same thing.

I don't like it at all. It may be good for tablets and phone,but on touch screen systems android is better. It's gonna be "closed system" as iOS, as i see. For example,you open "Mail" tile and hotmail will open. You open "Message" tile and Messenger will open Also, settings are more hard to find. If you don't have some reason to upgrade to 8, stay with Seven, it's the best OS around.

WIndows 8 is much better than windows 7 . Windows 8 allows you to use thumb impression as password so that no one else can use it..... Enhanced user interface and security makes it more robust ....... Microsoft consider it as its best os of present time ............ Hare Krishna Ganesh

I have not gone much into the pros and cons, but yes I have heard that its interface would take some time to getting adjusted to. Yet, once done, Windows 8 offers a lot more than what its predecessors did. It has many Apps, and is a combination of touchscreen and type.
