Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn Birkhead is now modeling!

I just saw that Anna Nicole Smith's six year old daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead, is following in her mother's footsteps and making an appearance in the GUESS Kids spring 2013 campaign. This is the first time that GUESS has used the child of a former model in one of their campaigns. You might remember that her late mother, Anna Nicole was a model for GUESS back in 1992 and was named the face of the brand that same year. This makes little Dannielynn a second-generation GUESS girl. I just hope that her father leads her down the right path and she doesn't get sucked into the whole "Hollywood Lifestyle" and get messed up in some way. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Honestly, this is the first time that I've heard this and in fact it is the first that I've heard about Dannielynn since shortly after her mother passed away. I don't think that there is anything at all wrong with allowing a young girl to model, but I do think that when a parent does allow their child to start on a path that could lead them to true stardom, they really have to make sure that their children are taught how to make the right decisions in their lives.

I agree. I hope that he takes care of her and protects her from the dangers of fame. I'm not sure if this was a one time thing or not. But I hope if she does pursue a modeling career that she puts getting an education first, etc. and stays on the straight and narrow path. Thanks for your comment and have a great day!!!

I also saw the article about Dannielynn and was amazed that she's that old already! I hope she doesn't follow in her mothers footsteps totally.

The only thing that I knew anna nicole smith did was model for playboy lol I had no idea she did respectable modeling like guess. That is really nice that her daughter is a child model for guess. I really hope she stays on the good side and doesnt get into the problems her mother did someday.

I remember back in 1991/1992 when she was a model for GUESS. She was so beautiful and she reminded me of Marilyn Monroe or Jayne Mansfield. I think she got into Playboy after that. Thanks for your comment and have a great day!!!

I had no idea. She is a cute little girl. I do hope that the Dad is handling it responsibly and not shoving her into it and that he will not allow her to follow in the horrible footsteps of her mother.

She is such a pretty little girl. She looks so much like her mother. I think it's great that she is modeling...I am like you though...there is a darkside to the business and dad should definitely be super active in guiding and protecting her.

I agree. I just hope whatever money that is earned from this is being put into a trust for her for after she is an adult. The only one she has in this world now is her father. I know Anna Nicole had a hard life growing up and all and now since she is being raised by her father maybe she will be spared the things that Anna Nicole went through. I wish her all the best. What a life to lead, especially as a child. I hope her father helps and guides her unlike most child stars who end up down the wrong path. Why did they accept her as a model if they dont use children of models from the past?.

Well, if this is the only thing she does it's ok. I think first and foremost she needs to enjoy her childhood and get a college education under her belt. There is nothing wrong with following in your parents footsteps and anna nicole-smith did do really well at modelling so if the daughter wants to become a model there is nothing wrong in that. As you said though hopefully she can learn from her mother mistakes and not make the same and she should be ok.
