About a writer(Ethan Hawke) who intentionally moves in with his family to a house where the previous owner was killed. Since he writes true crime stories and stuff. he find footage of how the 5 families were killed and starts investigating them and the missing children.. There were some parts that made me jump..I guess it was a good horror movie, lots of suspense.. it didn't have a happy ending though.

From what you have described, I think this is a good scary movie. Honestly, I'm a sort of action/suspense fanatics. But since it was an Ethan Hawke movie, I think I should see this one.

Yeah, it is a good horror movie for me. Although i don't think a lot of people would like this stuff, since there are not many ghost appearances, only sounds and freaky videos.. They just appear near the end.

Hi! thanks for sharing this, I did not hear about this movie and I really love to watch base on your comments. Lately I've been pre-occupied with clixsesnse tasks and didnt watch movies lately. Gotta watch that movie tonight.

I have been waiting for a copy of this movie for months, since many people said it was scary.. It was not the scariest movie i have seen, but the story is scary- about this monster who eats children's souls and kills the entire family..

Yeah, the last 30 minutes was quite thrilling.. but there was not much blood and gore though, if that's what you're looking for in a horror movie.. it is more like the Insidious kind of feel.. freaky monsters.

I haven't watched Sinister yet, you have described the movie as I heard about it, it's kind of a scary movie. I haven't yet thought about watching it ...

it is not really super duper scary, but it did make me jump a few times.. it is more eerie and creepy, mysterious too. Many people liked it, but many people also hated it. I do not plan on watching it again any time soon though.
