first christmas together

This is mine and my fiance's first christmas together. I have two children and he has 1. I have never really had the money to get alot of christmas for my children. I have always ended up going to dollar tree to get all of their things. But they are young so they never really new the difference any way. But this being the first christmas together he said that he wanted to make sure that it was a christmas to remember with the kids. His son has never really had a good christmas due to his ex. So we went to wallmart and he ended up spending a lot of money on all three of the kids. I just couldnt believe that he done that. I have never seen a man do something like that. My ex never went shopping at all he did not have a driver's licens. I even had to buy my own christmas presents and put them under the tree. I have tried to do that this year because i keep forgetting that i dont have to now. He has even already got some things for me and it is really hard to get use to that. Has anyone else ever had this done to them? Has anyone else ever had a man spend alot of money or more money then you would have ever spent?

Glad to hear this, it is not worth that counts but the thought. And I ma sure your children will all be happy to have complete set of family, a mother, a father and all.
about your question? no, I have a very thrifty man in my life. but he spent. the man is my father. LOL

Thank you for your response. I do have to say no man will ever compare to daddy's lol. I have been tryin to explain to my chdren that the gifts have nothing to do with Christmas. It's all about being able to spend time with family. And as long as you have your family that's all that matters. My five year old son even looked at me the other night and said yeah I love you and my daddy and my real daddy lol it was so cute. He is so excited that his real daddy is going to be able to come and see him for Christmas. Hope you have a great Christmas as well.

Thank you very much he is very sweet. And I'm hoping to raise him just lie my fiancé is. My fiancé still opens doors for me and you don't see that any more really. So I'm hoping to I feed you could say mold him into a great guy that girls will be fighting over to date be aide he is gentlemen.

What a generous man!
I've had two men spend a lot of money during the holidays, but it really didn't make me like Christmas any more than I already did. My ex husband used to spend a lot at the holidays, but the things he purchased were that-just things. Much of what he did get wasn't even my taste, but HE liked enough and would keep it for himself. My current boyfriend buys things for me at the holidays, but we don't always have enough money in our budget. Or he buys things that are so NOT me!

Thank you very much for your respons. Yeah I'm not sure that every man is meant to buy for women lol. My man did at least go to the store with me and if he saw something he thought I might like he would ask me if I liked it. He didn't buy anything while I was with him but he has done his shopping while I was with him just sitting in the car waiting on him. He is very very good when it come to him buying for me lol. But we expect this to be a great Christmas no matter what has happened in the last year and also this month. I hope you have a great Christmas holiday.

its awesome feel and the time which you are going to spend will be relished by you for longer time since its a festive season,so get her all the favorite items rfrom walmart and other stores

Thank you for your response. We are all looking forward to spending great family time with each other. That's all I told the kids I wanted for Christmas was for them to be with me all day long. They looked at me and told me that they would do that cause they live me that just made my Christmas so much better. I hope you have a great Christmas holiday with your family.

no..nw only am hearing lik this type of man...very interesting n touching..happy christmas...n for me also this christmas is spl bec aft getting married going to celebrate tis festival with my hubby first time ...,though am nt a christian...bt love to celebrate with a black forest cake with my hubby n my family members...

This is my 2nd year with my boyfriend for Christmas, I'm not used to having a boyfriend buy me anything he is the first to buy me gifts for Christmas. Last year for are first Christmas together he got me a laptop and I got him a new phone he wanted. I already know what he is getting me this year. It's nice to celebrate Christmas with someone you love and your family. I'm glad you found a good guy and he did that for you and your kids that's great. I'm happy their going to have a wonderful Christmas this year. Enjoy!

Yeah that is so true. My man had a shift chance at work and was going to have to work Christmas. Well I was really upset and then the very next day he come home with a letter saying that they will be closing for Christmas I was so thankful that he will be here with they family that day it will mean the world to me and the kids.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is absolutely great to hear that this year's Christmas would be your and your fiance's first Christmas together and as u have mentioned in above that it would be special for both of u in many ways.
I would like to wish u both a very happy Christmas before hand and i am pleased to know that your fiance is so much serious and excited at the same time for his children so that they enjoy it to the fullest which is such a rare thing to hear nowadays.

Thank you very much for your response. I am very glad that this will be a great Christmas for my children with everything that has happened in the last year I think this will be really great. They are excited that their real daddy is planning to come see them. But most of all they are excited that me and their step dad will be here on Christmas morning and wake up together. Their step dad was scheduled to work on Christmas and then got a thing saying that he did have to work. They were all so happy when we told them the good news cause they looked so sad when we told them that he had to work so he wouldn't be able to really do a hole lot.
