Is self defence subject Karate should introduce in education?

Recenly I watch a program about education system there a guest was saying daily many cases are happening of girl's rape, married women murder etc. So in education a self defense subject Karate should introduce and daily one practical lecture should be for it. So the girls can try to defense themselves. I like his idea and think really should introduce this subject in every school. What you think it may be apply.

You are right friend no wrong if martial art subject compulsory in every school. Because now world is not good and girl should know how she can defend herself.

i agree with you all. even though we are in 21st century still girls are facing many problems and self defense is compulsory. The more modern no safety at all.

Yes.
I believe investing in knowledge or learning any technique will surely give good results.
This is actually great idea, if any such things started at school level and self defense technique will surely help them in long run and more so its increases the confidence in girls at young age.

Yes friend this is great idea but Govt. should take the action and introduce this subject Govt not paying attention on those cases from which the girls are suffering. I also like this idea and really should apply.

But looking at present situation, parents should come forward and talk to school management or like along with studies they try to find nearest center for their child where they can learn such techniques.

Yes, learning some techniques for self defence is indeed necessary to live in the present world. It will be appreciable if schools can make it as compulsory learning. In my knowledge most of the schools are giving karate coaching but I think those who want to attend the classes can join. I mean, it is optional to join, not compulsory. I have seen in a school, Karate classes are going on and girls are also learning the same.

I think it might be a good idea to teach it in the physical education classes. A lot of students do not like the competitive sports, and teaching karate or tae kwon do might be great ways to teach them self defense along with getting them some exercise. There is so many more things that are learned in martial arts classes too. Like discipline and respect! Like the idea!

Yes I also like this idea and they can include this subject as physical education period. You are right most of the student not know about this and they cant join the classes because classes fees is too much.

Here in our country- Karate is taught in almost public and private schools.
This is optional if the student wants to participate or join.
I agree that any type of lesson regarding self defense is a great help especially for girls.

I agree it has become the necessity these days. we should learn the self defense will be helpful for some extent to save ourselves . Hope it is made compulsory then people (girls) will definitely learn.

Learning self defense in school should be a must all my girls went to self defense classes[ private] at the time school did not have self defense class for students. The best thing about learning self defense is that gives the children self confidence and strenght to cope with stressful situations and abuse I think girls and boys should learn self defense from a young age.
