Hello mylotters. Well mylot is a great place for social networking. But I know that everyone here also has this ambition of becoming rich to fulfill their needs and wishes. I came across this wonderful article about Steve Siebold, the author of "How rich people think". He spent nearly three decades interviewing millionaires around the world to find out what separates them from rest. It is a very interesting read. It made me realize that one need to change and adapt if he or she wants to become successful. If you are stubborn and want to win it your way then it might take you a very long time or in worst case you might not accomplish your goal. Pleas share your thoughts. I am sharing the link of the article... www.rsvlts.com/2012/09/06/21-ways-rich-people-think-differently-than-average-people/ =SuperShames=

Interesting article. In my mind, everything listed fell into one of three categories: those I felt were good qualities and I really liked and have, those I felt were good qualities and I should focus on acquiring, and those I would never want to do. If becoming rich means being selfish and uncertain, I'll take a pass.

Hi StLouisMetroTutoring. Now that is a good way to analyze it. And about the category in which you mentioned things about being selfish, initially I felt the same as well. But I don think author meant what we are interpreting out of it. I think it is being selfish in a competition. Though I do not like the concept of being selfish but I agree with the author here. Anyways thanks for your response and have a nice day ...

Hi Shames, Wow, thanks for sharing think link. (cheering) I just checked the link, but will go again and read all 21 points and comparisons between average and rich. (already bookmarked above link) About all, the points which i liked the most in these 21 points is passion for doing something , acquiring specific knowledge and dream of future. I feel to become very successful in terms of money, first thing should be deep desire, passion to learn, and always have big dreams and try your level best to achieve those dreams.

Hi khushi.. I am glad that you loved the link I shared. I thought people here would be interested in these things. But unfortunately I think everyone here is more inclined towards shortcuts I guess. By the way my favorite one was where he said that rich people prefer to be educated rather than entertained and the reverse holds true for the average people. This made me realize that how true it is for me. This is something I need to change. But that doesn't mean that there will be no entertainment in my life. Anyways thanks for your response and have a nice day ...

Rich people are usually spoiled because they can get anything they want. I will never get rich and if I did I would give most of my money to my kids. They are young and I am getting up there in age. I've done just about everything I've wanted to and on a limited income.

Hi ctryhny. Well that would be very stereotyped to say that rich people are usually spoiled. This is something the movies and television shows have made perception about them. There are things that they do differently from us. And I think this article explains it very much. I ope you liked the article. Anyways thanks for your response and have a nice day ...
