I am a 17 year-old student in collage. I feel that it is quite hard to cope with my studies as education is pretty tough overall. Despite constantly studying, it isn't helping as much as I think it would be. Is there any tips that allow me to study more easily?

I think to work harder on your own major really helps coz only with this can you feel more leisure about your major and I know that there is no shortcut in learning. So believe in me friends and you will find great improvement on that, plus interest is so important, make yourself in love with what you learn and good luck to you.

I haven't been in college since around when you were born. But I will say with the internet I'd do a search on good study habits and see what turns up. Even asking your friends what they do to get thru their school work. I'm sure there are more tips and tricks to absorbing the information you need to learn.

Who chose the course that you have taken? Do you like the course? Sometimes, if we are just forced to take up a course, and our heart is really not in it, then it causes us some problem in "wanting" to study.

Hi Winston. Well first of all you need to build up confidence and at least in your own eyes see yourself parallel to each and everyone in your class. The best tip is 1)to perform better is to listen and understand in class. Because in college tests are nothing but questions to test how much you understood in the class. 2)to understand what is taught in the class better is to ask questions to the teacher whenever you dont understand. Be shameless. Dont shy away thinking that you might get embarrassed because you might be asking some silly question. Even if you get embarrassed remind yourself that this is better than getting low grades. 3)to practice as much as possible at home and 4)make a study partner and do brainstorming with him/her if you do not understand any topic. Anyways have a nice day and all the best ... =SuperShames=

Welcome to myLot! I guess you know what to do. Listen & read well. Understand. Question. You only have to be patient in studying. There's no easy things in this world. Studying is just a piece of cake compared to your life when you're already out there looking for a job, adjusting with different kinds of people, facing your daily trials in life, etc. I bet you'll tell yourself one day that you want to be a student again and just receive your monthly allowance and face your books and your teachers. LOL.

When you graduate and you'll get a job, you will start to miss going school. You will be faced with more complicated problems and it's not fun anymore. You're going to face the real world. Enjoy your time as a student. Colleger is only 4-5 years of your life. You still have more time to figure out what to do with the future.
