Have you experienced any form of tooth ache? If so, then you can relate with me. I have been suffering from toothache for about 3 weeks now. I t really destroys my day and I can not even sleep when this happens. I feel like my tooth is punishing me. I went to my dentist and he said it is my 3rd molar tooth that is causing the pain that is why it affects the half of my head giving me headache and ear pains. I took some medicines and even search the internet for possible remedies but to no effect. Now I have decided to go back to my dentist and get this tooth extracted, I told myself before I'm gonna maintain the number of my teeth but I have no choice but to remove it rather than experiencing this pain that makes me irritated.

All of my lower molars are gone - I don't know if that's the right term. They were all extracted since I was young then going older and older and now, there's no more left. When you go to the dentist, they won't extract it if it hurts so you have to drink some antibiotics first. Anyways, the doctor will advice you that. Other than that, I don't know any other remedy. That's really irritating. It's as if your whole body is in pain.

yes, - I'm serious - all molars (lower part) are gone - I think I'm still young AND you are right, this happened because of chocos. Since I was a kid, I love chocos and sometimes, I don't brush my teeth before going to sleep. Such a lazy kid to brush. My mom would scold me and yet, I was still lazy to do it. So now, I can't eat too much meat. Well, it should be very tender.

Yes! I can not do anything about it but to let this happen, rather than to experience toothache again later on. They are going to use anesthetics anyway so I hope I won't feel anything! haha

That is a long time to suffer, 3 weeks! I think you made the right decision going back to the dentist, hopefully once removed you will suffer no longer. I had raging toothache a few years back, and I am actually frightened of the dentist so I kept putting it off, eventually I went, he gave me a choice of root canal or extraction, I had heard from other people that root canal work is very painful and very expensive, so I got it extracted, looking back it was quite comical, the poor dentist couldn't get this tooth out no matter how hard he tried, it took about 45 minutes and eventually it came loose, it was so embedded in my gum and had two long roots, boy I was never glad to see the back of that horrid tooth!

Haha reading your comments here makes me change my mind! My dentist actually warned me that it is my 3rd lower molar that is to be extracted so it's gonna be hard to remove and painful. I'm scared haha

Hi, I am suffering from tooth pain from yesterday. I didn't visit the doctor till now. The pain is not too much but i can feel it. I don't know why it started all of a sudden. I just hate it as of now.

my mother checked it, she said there is no such problem like that. If the pain still persists then i will visit the dentist. I am very afraid of these doctors and dentists.

Yeah I know how it feels to have a toothache. I suggest you go visit your dentist or if not able to meet your doctor, you try googling some ways to temporarily ease the pain. Get well :)

I am afraid of dentists too - as much as I am afraid of blood extraction. They will inject anesthesia and that really hurts my gums. I could still hear the sound of the needle when pricked.

Probably you have a decaying tooth which triggers your toothache or you have sensitive teeth, the best thing you can do to stay out on such pain is to limit your sugar intake such as stop eating sweets for some time, also do regular brush and mouth wash, it will help in cleaning your teeth. If the problem still persists, then might as well consider you visit a dentist as soon as possible.

Yup! I'm already doing that. The bad thing is I really can't get myself away from sweet foods. I can minimize eating sweeties but I can't stop. Haha

I can realise your problem as I was suffering from similar problem when I was about 18 years old and finally extracted 1 teeth to get gid of severe pain. That time in India dental and treatment techniques were not that advanced so the only way of treatment was pulling it out by giving local anesthesia injection. Now a days no need of dental extraction as there are techniques like RCT etc.Consult your doctor regarding this as in this procedure you need not have to sacrifice your teeth.Though little bit expensive, this procedure is highly effective.

Yeah I have considered that too. I really didn't want any of my teeth to be extracted. I had two teeth undergone RCT with out any anesthetics and it really hurt so bad. It was a very traumatic experience! Haha

I can't believe that you can stand your toothache for such a long time! I remember when I had the toothache in the past. I felt so terrible and I couldn't even fall asleep well. I cried because of the pain. And then next morning I went to see the dentist immediately. I couldn't stand for it at all. I hope the dentist will fix your dental problem as I understand how suffering you are.

Yeah I tolerated the pain hoping that it could stop aching sooner and just make some alternative ways just to save my tooth but as the dentist advised me, I have to let this tooth be extracted.

Hello Devonavis we gotta do what we gotta do but my mom taught me early one that once you get tooth ache it ain't going away and needs to be fixed or taken out period. But if you do find yourself in pain what you can do is take the whiskey SeaGrams 7 and hold it on the tooth untill the pain melts away. You'll be good for just inside of 4 hours and will have to do it again or like my mom used say get it out.

I always suffer from toothaches and it is the worst pain ever. For me, when I have a toothache it is worse pain than my labors! I cannot sleep, eat or talk most of the time. It is the worst pain ever. I hope you get some relief soon!

Nothing as painful as that of toothache. True pain radiates fr under the tooth , to the nerve then goes up to the brain. Only the tip of the hair which has no pain. Sometimes even pain killer doesn't work. No other choice but tooth extraction. The funny thing is when pain is at its peak , we wish our tooth be pulled right there and then and when it is okay , we just ignore it.

I also got the toothache. But i caught less suffering, because when i found pain from my tooth, i just went for dentist immediately. As my experience told me, the therapy will take several weeks. And i have taken the first therapy and there are another two on this December. I advise you guys go for dentist as soon as you feel the pain. It is hard to endure toothache, which will bring yourself a bad mood and low efficiency in work. Also, the expenses cost you so much to have a therapy.

I agree with you. It really affects my mood when I have toothaches and I want to be alone most of the time, and worst, it costs me much for just buying medicines thinking that they would work.

Well, I guess we all try hard to have healthy and good teeth but sometimes things just happen and we have to lose a teeth or two somehow. I did experience tooth ache before and I would say that I couldn't enjoy my day during those few days with my the pain in chewing food and the pain sort of spread to my head as well. I guess it's because of certain interconnecting nerves. I just hope that I can maintain my teeth for as long as I can now.

Loosing my molars is okay with me, but my incisors? Naah! This is something I don't even want to think about. I care for my looks or appearance and I think having no tooth in front does not look good! Hahaha!

I hope by now you are completely cured from your tooth ache. A tooth ache can be really bad at times. I do experience it sometimes but refrain from going to a dentist. I am allergic to dentists....lol.

Haha Yeah. My toot is okay now but there are some that still needs attention according to my dentist. For now I still don't have money to fix them so I'm saving. Haha I realized that teeth are very expensive.
