Are you concerned over what will happen on the twenty-first of this month?

I am seeing that many people are concerned over the thought that the world will end on December21, 2012, which is just sixteen days away. Some are even starting to panic which is a very sad thing to see happening because there is no reason for anyone to believe that anything different will happen on that day. The end of this world for each of us will be when we die, and no doubt some people will die on the 21st, just as others will on the 20Th and still others on the 22ND. There is a crisis in the world at this time and there will be changes over the next few years due to climate change and people refusing to work together for the good of all, but the world will not end. We, as a species, have the ability to end life on the planet, but hopefully, we will not do that. I hope that everyone who is concerned over this will relax and come to the conclusion that they have nothing to worry about. Enjoy the holidays and be prepared to have to pay your bills in Jan. of 2013. Blessings.

Hope your health is alright and sorry for not interacting with you for long time.
Regarding the topic, I seldom remember about this date. I am not at all panic or worry about the end of the world. I believe in God and I know whatever happen it will be according to wish of the God. Worrying will not help or going to stop any bad incidents happen in future. I am just concentrating my works, family, kid's studies etc. We have to face whatever store for us whether it is good or bad. Let us face it boldly.

Well they have planned the next Olympics in Athens in 2016 so they are planning for the world to be here. It's just an ancient prophecy, there has been many prophecies made in the past and they have never come to fruition. Ironically the 21st will be my last therapy session before Christmas, I told my therapist about the prophecy that the world will end on 21st, she didn't know anything about it. Ignorance is truly bliss, especially with this fallacy.

I'm not concerned at all. If you think about there has always been a year and a date where people have said "it's the end". I think it is just a bunch of hype to get people to buy things and panic. Just live your life the same as you do now and don't worry about the crazy nonsense you read or hear about.

Hi Shar, Thank you for sharing and I am not concerned at all. I do however feel bad for those who take it serious and especially for children who see their parents and other adults in a panic. The world is changing, that we know, but I prefer to think that things will get better, and I think the 21st will be like any other day. Blessings.

Hi savypat, Thank you for sharing and I agree it will be the first day of winter, nothing more. The world is changing and it is happening much faster than it was even twenty years ago, but there will be nothing special on the 21st any more than any other day. I like to think that society is changing for the better and I hope we will find positive ways to deal with climate change. Blessings.

the powerful event that would bring about the end of the world would have to be so enormous that none of could control it, in which case there is little point in worrying. we would just have to hope that if god exists he looks reasonably kindly upon us, and, of course, if the world ends because of a prophecy then he must.
but i am not at all concerned about it, because i don't think it will, but if it does, then it is so beyond my control, that i could do nothing about it, so i will just carry on as normal and leave it to happen.

Hi jillhill, Thank you for sharing and you are right there is always someone trying to scare people. The earth will be around for a long time yet. I wonder why people get so scared, no one comes here to stay. Our bodies eventually die and we move on to another dimension anyway, why be concerned about the end of the world? Some people have written books and made a lot of money playing on people's fears. Blessings.

Hi cobalt, Thank you for responding but the date of December 21, 2112, has been talked about for years as being the last day and much has been written about it in the past two years. The biggest reason for this is that it is the last day on the Mayan long calender. You can read all about it on line . Blessings.

Hi,
I know and heard about people worrying about the 21st December. But i am not at all worried and why should we when nothing is in our hands what is the use of this worry? we cant help. Just enjoy and pray as long as we are here.

No. The world will not end on the 21st of December. It's all hype. My boyfriend is running rampant with this apocalypse thing going on. I'm not worried. Neither should you!
