Will My Wound Be Healed In Time For Christmas?

Many of you know I have been dealing with this Chronic wound for some time now. Many of you even know I have been doing Hyperbaric oxygen treatment since the end of September. I actually only have a couple of weeks approved left, and really hoping it will be completely healed by then. There have been a lot of positive changes done since they started doing this as in the skin looks way better, and the wound is a lot smaller. As for it healing by Christmas that would be the Best present for me ever. I am not sure if this will happen this quick or not, and some people might say maybe I do not have enough Faith, but it is looking so much better than it did. I am just wondering what next if it is not? Continued Prayers are appreciated as we are seeing Big improvements. Only time will tell just how much longer it will take, and believing God is always in control. ~~TINA~~

I am really pleased that this new treatment is working on your wound and it's beginning to shrink in size. I'm amazed at your resilience as it must've frustrated you when things weren't exactly going to plan. I'm glad you didn't give up.

Oh I am past frustration when I think about what I have had to deal with this yr. and most of the time being blamed for everything, instead of wanting to be listened too. It has really helped make a difference, and wishing this did not have to end yet, until the wound is completely healed.

Well, at least we all 'listen' to you on here my friend. I'm off to my hospital appointment on Tuesday. No idea what's going to happen after that but I shall keep you all informed on developments, if any.

Well, there will probably be another update on what they are going to do when the hyperbaric ends on the 27th, but waiting to see my Doctor at the wound clinic and then go from there.

Well, I certainly hope it is healed by Christmas! That would be awesome. If it's not - perhaps the noticeable healing will continue and be healed by the first of the year. Now that would be a great way to start a new year, wouldn't it? I am very glad that you are seeing such marked improvements though! Each day that there is progress and not digression is a great, successful day in my opinion!

Well, I have a doctors apt at the Wound Clinic in the morning, and then I also only have 2 weeks left of hyperbaric treatment left until it is over, so we will see how things are progressing, and then find out what the next steps are going to be from here. It has really improved, but usually my thoughts are not like theirs, so only Prayer and time will tell what is supposed to happen from here.

Yes, hyperbaric oxygen is one of the Best things a person could ever consider with stubborn wounds that will not heal. And to think they were not going to consider it until I checked into it with my insurance, found out it would be approved, and then requested why were they stalling? The wound has really done amazing with healing from the inside out which is what it needed to do. Just wishing it did not have to end yet.

I have heard a lot about the benefits of the hyperbaric treatments and have looked at it for Chris. I hear it's been used widely for wound care and is very effective. I guess you are kind of becoming proof for that, huh? So glad the wound is beginning to heal up!

I do hope you are healed or much improved by Christmas! You know, I bought a book from the thrift shop last year called Daily Guideposts and it's a real pleasure to read it every day. It inspired me, makes me think and lets me know that others also face trials and periods of weakness. Have you been to http://www.guideposts.org/? The magazine itself is expensive, in my opinion, but you can go there and fine all sorts of inspiring faith. There are free newsletters, free daily inspirational verses, etc., too. The more positive your attitude the quicker you heal. Stay positive and confident in God's love!

It sounds like maybe this is the right treatment for this sore. It's sure been a long time finding anything that would work. As for people who question your faith NO ONE knows what goes on in someone else's mind. Unless you asked for it tell them to keep their ideas to themselves. Blessings

There are times my friend, I would love to do this. Especially because unless they have been there, how can you say how you would react if it was them or someone in their family. And just because some people are healed instantly with prayer and faith others have to endure many things. But I am keeping uplifted and feel great things are ready to come my way.

Well, unless a miracle happens in the next 4 days (which it could), it is not completely healed yet, but looking a lot better. They have more ideas on what they are going to try next starting this week, and I will be posting a New discussion on this.

Well my friend... it is looking so much better. I am not sure how close it is to really being healed, but the size to me looks a lot smaller and keeps on looking a lot more healthy. The hyperbaric oxygen treatment ends the 27th, and I see my wound care doctor tomorrow, and will be discussing what has been suggested from here, and see if it is going to be something in the works.

I am continuing to see major improvement my friend, and that is good. The hyperbaric oxygen is getting ready to end on the 27th, and I know what is recommended next, and just waiting to see my doctor tomorrow, and discuss this, and see if this is going to be considered in the near future. I am really ready for this to all be over.

I hope it will be healed by Christmas, or at least keep healing on its own after the treatments stop--you are doing so much better now than before. Having faith isn't always the easiest thing to do, but it is the right thing to do--and positive thinking and faith can go a long way towards making things work well.Good luck, and I am praying for you.

Well, in my personal opinion, things are looking a lot better. But we only have 2 weeks left until Christmas, and my hyperbaric oxygen treatment is scheduled to end on December 27th as well. So personally it looks like it really will all be based on what I find out when I go to the wound clinic in the morning and see what they say, and their game plan is from here.

You have been dealing with this for so long, I hope it is cleared up by Christmas! That would be the best present! I certainly don't think it could be considered "quick" since it's been going on for so long!

No, it is not healed yet, and there have even been a few minor setbacks, and right now I am a little upset and waiting to see this next Thursday if things are going to be done, or I will be stuck yet again asking a lot of questions and demanding more of an answer. But no matter what still believing God is in control, and one day this will all be healed.

Well, unless a true Miracle happens, it will not be completely healed by Christmas and when my Hyperbaric oxygen treatments end on the 27th. It is getting really close, and I will be discussing some things with my Wound care doctor at my next apt on Thursday and post more from here. I am just wanting this all to be over, and everything to get more back to normal.

Hi Tina, it's still a couple of weeks to go before Christmas Eve. Since your wound have improved a lot, hopefully 14 days or so are sufficient for your wound to heal completely. Other than praying yourself, I believe friends from different parts of the world would say prayer for you persistently as well. Do our best hoping to see everything goes smoothly and good. The wound would be improved a lot in healing after two weeks. So just be relaxed and live your daily life normally. Worry too much doing nothing good to the wound. Pleasant mood and proper rest would help to promote immune system I suppose. Wish you all the best and happy posting

We can just keep hoping & praying it will. From experience, I know how hard it is to keep your focus when you're in much pain/debilitated, but do your best to keep your eyes on God's promises regarding healing. Faith is required to battle these challenges. Put written reminders of healing Scripture around the house to help you stay focused, and keep your verbal testimony.

If i have wound due to my skin asthma i just wash it with boiled water of guava leaves. It heals faster. Wash the guava leaves then boil with water. The amount of water is depend of the content of the leaves. When start to boil, boil for another 5 minutes. Then let it cool. If the boiled guava leaves is cool prepare your wounds. Wash the wounds using the water of the boiled guava leaves then damp to try. Do it three times a day. In just two to three days you found your wound drying ans starting to heal.
