Juan Manuel Marquez K.O.'s Manny Pacquiao in the 6th round of the most anticipated boxing event of the year. Marquez displayed speed and power in the opening round of the Million-dollar fight watched by millions all over the world. For my own observation, JM Marquez went into the ring better prepared in almost every aspect of a fighter eager to prove his worth than the Philippine Boxing icon. Could this be Manny Pacquiao's last fight? Sports Critics have varying opinions, how about you?

Hi there. I am a Filipino myself and naturally, I'm on Pacquiao's side all the way. But regarding Manny's latest fight with Juan Manuel Marquez, I have to objectively agree that somehow, Manny wasn't able to foresee the opponent's moves. As previously aired, Manny even admitted his defeat on this particular fight; in contrast with his earlier boxing fight with Timothy Bradley. In that fight, millions of people believe that the judges were biased with their decision declaring Bradley as winner. I haven't heard what the sports analysts have to say but I believe that there isn't going to be any harm if Manny decides to quit boxing from now on. Further, he has a career as a politician in our country which he can look forward to, as well as a family who loves him dearly.

Hello there, mykmari_08, thanks for sharing you view. I totally agree with you, that our very own Manny Pacman didn't quite foresee Marquez's moves and probably wasn't able to completely study his opponents game paln. One Sports commenetator in a post fight analysis says that Manny will be well remembered as one of the greatest aggressive boxers and Marquez as one of the greatest Counter-puncher boxers of the decade. And that spelled the outcome of the fight... Manny aggressively attacking Marquez till the last 10 seconds of the 6th round, and Marquez in a perfect position to deliver the winning counter-pinch! We'll try to watch out for further developments if Manny will decide to finally quit the Ring or probably forced to!

typo errors: opponents game paln - game plan. deliver the winning counter-pinch - counter-punch. My apologies.

Well, I don't think it's the end just because it's a hard loss. But it's a start of another explosive performance from Pacman. That defeat surely awaken Pacman and I think it will be another ride of KO's again for the enemy. They sure must be ready. :)

hi, yes that was true that Manny has been defeated by Marquez but its not means that he already loose his ability in Boxing,we have seen the fight and in the first round until 5th round they showed both a good fighting and both of them were really great in Boxing.
