The 8 world division boxing champion MANNY PACQUIAO was knocked out today (Sunday, Dec. 8 Philippines) by 4 division boxing champion JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ. I was affected. Deep in my heart I felt the loss of a great boxer, and on the one hand, admire and congratulate the effort of the valiant Mexican pugilist. What do you feel of the loss of Pacquiao? What will you say of the courage and victory of Marquez? Any suggestion or comment about the two pugilists?

Well I was out of the house when the fight broke out and got to know that he lose when we were going home late in the afternoon. It was a shocker for me as well but I somehow accepted it already when I saw the fight on the news. It was obvious that he got hit bad and fallen and got unconscious. Which is obvious that he was knockout in the fight. In Bradley fight it was questionable since the two lasted long in the fight.

Well, the sad news about Pacquiao is over. There's one good thing that we've to be thankful for, he recovered from his fall and nothing untoward has happened to him physically. The shock and the shame of him predicting the downfall and end of Marquez chapter backfired and a bitter pill for him to swallow.

Well I am glad that nothing bad had happened to him physically. I ready on one of the news at yahoo that it was indeed a close fight between the two where the first two rounds were in favor to Pacquiao and the last two was for Marquez the fifth round was for Pacquiao if I was not wrong but the 6th round if Pacquiao was not knockout it could have been his since the points was very close to Pacquiao. I guess Marquez was really able to find an opening and gave it all from that punch. There were also rumors going around that Marquez did have non stop training for 5 uninterrupted straight months while Pacquiao did only intensive 5 weeks training in the US and the rest were done here in the Philippines where there were many distractions along the way and I guess politics went in the way as well preventing him to really focus on this bout.

That one big punch from the Mexican came like a thief in the night. It erased all Pacquiao point advantage earned in the earlier rounds.

I am not happy with it of course, but what makes me sad is that religion has been put to issue for his defeat. It is not right to talk about.

Another sad thing is some are just concerned with him winning, not even minding if he was badly hurt after that punch.

It's real tough to satisfy man's ego. When their pet boxer wins his fans celebrate; on the other hand, when their pet loses, they look for alibis.

Well, Juan Manuel Marquez prove it that he can beat Manny Pacquiao. I thought it would last 12 rounds. Long rounds can get me excited. There is a possibility that will make 5th fight. It will be next year.

5th encounter for Pacquiao vs. Marquez is a big possibility. Pacquiao will be aching to avenge his loss, and Marquez is brimful of confidence he'll have his edge over the Filipino again having brutalized him twice in the 4th.

Of course, I am affected too as well as most filipinos for the loss, however, we still thanked God that he had stood up despite the heavy blow that he received from Marquez. I feel sorry for him and his family at this moment. Hope they can accept gracefully this situation. For Pacman, you're still the best.

Of course win or lose, Pacquiao is still the No. 1 Filipino boxer ever. He accepted his defeat and blamed nobody. He was overconfident, off-guard for a split second where Marquez' brutal right hook sneaked in like a thief.

No one expected that of Manny, yes we saw him defeated but not like that:( It was sad but that's how it is, win or lose I will always admire the kind of man Manny is, not only when he is gaining victories. I was more concerned with his condition after that punch, it could have been worse thank God he woke up.
