He’s not exactly terminally sick but I think I should do something or do the extra mile for him when he is in this condition. I already went to the vet and my priorities will be him for the next few days. Is there What type of support can I give this dog during his illness? Any tips on tricking him to eat food. I kinda feel guilty when I am force feeding him.

You could try giving him a treat with the food. Eventually the dog will get hungry and eat though. I hope your dog will get better soon.

I felt sad for your dog's condition now. I know how it feels like to worry so much this time. I have 2 pet dogs and I really love them. One instance the other suddenly lose his appetite, I don't know what to do. So, after going to the vet, I took extra care for him. I talk to him by telling him to get well as soon as possible because I'm very worried and I make sure he drinks a lot of water. It will really be a hard time but, as long as you know what's wrong and you make sure he will take the medication prescribed by the vet (if there's any), then he'll be just fine. Make sure he felt appreciated and wanted, because sometimes, they just really want your attention.

Well, my dog really knows how to make me worried even though he doesn't look bothered by it. He’s my real first dog so I’m kinda playing the hyper and over-owner here. I did consult the vet and I was thinking that he might be confined. Luckily, he doesn’t need to and it appears that he got back his normal energy but I have to wait for vitality and to regain some weight. I hope that he remains healthy so we can travel to our other hometown to spend the holidays with my parents.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your situation and i know that u must be feeling sad and terrible for your dog's illness and i think it is always advisable to consult a vet so that u can give appropriate treatment to your pet dog. It is quite risky to take care of your pet dog without the advise of a vet when he is ill. It is better u consult a vet and sought for a complete analysis of the illness and how to terminate and i am sure your pet dog will be fine very soon. What say?

I already went tot the vet and I am still worried. This was really a dramatic change and I honestly don’t know how to cope with it. I am still waiting for good things to happen so that he’ll be on the road to recovery.
