education: a treasure that last a lifetime

I got shocked when I heard someone shouting at a child saying the child is not bound to reach a kingdom when he studied. How pitiful the raw idea of a person such as this would be. I cannot take a step as to what to do. Should I ignore? No! Should I confront? Definitely not. I am saddened by the ideas of these people looking so embarrassing and yet pitiful. Education is the key to success. And this has been proven for so long. A lot of people's life has been change because of this and there is no other way to clear they way but EDUCATION. Should I state something untowards....feel free to comment? What do you have to say?

I definitely disagree with the saying. Perhaps some people are trying to say that when we are educated it is sort of an evil thing and that is why when educated, we cannot go to heaven. Education as you have said, is a treasure. It is something that can never be taken away from us no matter what. We can use it as a tool to improve our life and help other people.

I give a strong commendation for this comment. above all, the law of the Almighty shall be given more attention and value other than persevering to succeed. Having been said, our education should be a product of good deeds and should be executed in good deeds likewise.

Yes , education is one of the keys for a success in life especially that we are living in a competitive world. If you got no education , you will be left out. Life even is hard for those who have graduated a degree then how much more if one have finish nothing ? What can we expect ? I remember dad telling us to finish school because that is the only treasure no one can steal or borrow. It is solely yours ! If we are well educated we are not afraid to join the arena of the real world . We can get a job because we have a transcript. Education is a ticket to have that comfortable , decent living life never mind the luxurious life !

Some old folks are so traditional the way they think about something. It could be influence by seeing some professionals who cannot get a job. But then, it should not be like that, they need to go to school and find ways to be successful in the long run.

you would be able to reap the fruits of your labor soon. and you are correct when you say that the benefits would be revealed in the long run. but what is important is that education instilled good behavior in you. and that you were able to gain knowledge you similarly apply in your life and use it in dealing with the present roaring society. success entails carefully dealing with what you have. using the same in the way that would clearly beneficial to you and to the society. it is not all about diploma

Education is the key to success that was mostly mentioned and known sayings in the classroom as I remember. My parents always tell me that even though we are not rich at least you could have a good education that you can keep and will not be stolen by others this is your own treasure.

i agree. nothing intangible can be taken away from you. unless it was taken by the same intangible. i.e. your negligence in taking care of the learning that you had.
