Just emptied out my PayPal account

It's my first time actually using my PayPal account and I can say that I am happy that I have made good use of it, although I'm sad that it's empty now and used it not the way I have planned before, but nonetheless it was something that needs to be done. I used it up to pay a debt from a friend. He needed to purchase something online and was having problem using his netteller account, I offered help, told him I had a PayPal account which he could use instead, and since I owed him he could consider it payment. He did consider it and just a while back I made the transfer. It's a good feeling to help a friend out, it's just not a good feeling to know that I have an empty account right now. Nonetheless, I'm still determined to save up and follow my original plan. I think few mylotters here could still recall what it was I wanted to buy before with my myLot earnings. Anyway, So how did you just spend your PayPal account? Did you do an online Christmas shopping or paid other services with it? Were you satisfied with your purchase? Or perhaps are you saving up for something bigger?

normally i didn't use paypal funds to make shopping excluding some cases but i use this payment processor to collect all money i can receive online and in many cases when i reach a decent amount and so i must not pay fees for single transaction i transfer all money in the bank account or in some cases to the debit card!

That was my original plan, save up all my earnings here and then cash it out to a bank account to buy something, but then the situation called for a different route so I did what I could. I'm not sorry I did though. I just miss having an amount in my account. I'm hoping to receive payout this January, so that will be good.

I just received my first payment last month. My earnings got accumulated because I didn't sign up in Paypal immediately. I'm waiting for my second payment. I guess I'll just add my earnings for awhile. I don't have any plan yet. I want to see my account with some amount. It motivates me. I hope it won't get hacked. LOL. Don't worry just keep on posting so that you'll earn and have your money in Paypal again. It's good thatyou already paid your debt and helped a friend. Be happy.

It is indeed a great motivation to have earnings stored in an account. It is one of the things that has kept me going. I intend to keep earning here and have as much fun as well. I love this site. So, maybe you're saving your earnings here for rainy days, aren't you?

Yes, I'm planning to buy something when I already earned a big amount or a sufficient amount.I'm not sure what to buy though. I'll just think about it if I already have the money. :)

I have not emptied my Paypal account as of yet coz I am still awaiting payments from an online job and I would just rather have it transferred to my bank when it becomes a bit larger to avoid the charges from transferring it.

It sounds like a good plan. The transfer charge is definitely one factor to consider. It is actually why I wanted to have a large amount first before doing the transfer, in my original plan that is. Anyway, now that I'm back to zero, I'm definitely striving to reach payout soon.

I haven't verified my account yet, haven't linked it to an active bank account yet, but I remember that my brother, who had a PayPal account activated before, said to me that PayPal will send a specific amount to your account and you will have to verify that you received the amount and then they will get it back and that's the time your account is verified.

Wow,they can take the money back? That's horrible.

They will only take back the amount they send, it's just probably a couple of cents anyway.

I can say that you have made good use of your paypal money. Like you my original plan wasn't followed. I was supposed to withdraw my paypal earnings to our bank account but made a purchase instead. I am not sad that I wasn't able to make a withdrawal since all of my earnings has been used for my son's sake. I was even able to buy him a very cute swim wear. Now I am working hard again in order to earn and hopefully this time I stick to the original plan :)

I guess it just shows that sometimes things can come up our way, something not part of our plan, and whether they are good or bad, but hopefully good, we just have to do something about it. I'm glad that you were able to use your earning for something useful and that can make your son feel happy. So I guess it's good luck to us then.

my PayPal never empty, if there is enough amount which I have then I will send it to my local bank then use as needed. I don't buy online through PayPal, only within a bank or cash.

This is probably my 4th time responding to this comment. I actually gave up after the third time and decided to come back later. If this one works out, and I hope it does, well I just want to say that, I too choose to try and test items first before paying for it, but I am also open to online shopping because there are a lot of things that are not available in our small city here.

Well, you did what you gotta do, and there shouldn't be any regret of it. Somehow, it will be better to take care of your debt to someone first, which might relieve your burden from your shoulder. I am glad you did that too. By the way, although your paypal account is empty now, you can still start from fresh, and trying to save up again. I hope that you will save up enough money to get whatever you want, or save it up for something bigger.

Definitely true. Paying the debt has taken off a little load off the burden on my shoulders but it really helped. If there was any regrets, it would be the time I didn't spend here instead. I could have earned more. Anyway, now that I'm back to zero, I'm definitely planing to get back to being busy here, especially with the holidays coming, giving me more free time. I just hope I'll recover from this colds soon.

Apparently, as I have just learned, some countries such as yours have policies like that. In a way it is also a good thing. At least you'll know your cash will be secured directly in your bank account. Unfortunately though, you may not to shop online using PayPal, but I think there are other ways to shop online.

I think it's great you were able to pay your debt off to your friend with the money in your paypal account. That should provide some relief, knowing you are closer to getting what you want. I will be saving money in my paypal account and using that towards our move next June. I usually spend the money in my account right away and it usually goes for gas, but this time I have a plan for it.

Sounds like a good plan. I'm back to zero now but I guess that's more reason for me to strive and earn. I'll probably be spending more time here once I feel better.

Hi friend, i don't worry about transferring money from my paypal account, because paypal automatically transfer the money to my bank account after each transaction due to the RBI rules of our country. Mostly Indian's paypal accounts seems to be empty and the money will be automatically transfers to our bank account without placing a withdraw request

That is an interesting information. I always thought that the policy would be the same in every country. Well, at least it could be safer that way. It's just a disadvantage because you won't be able to use PayPal to buy things online.

Hi, I know how it feels when we empty the account. As long as the money is there in the account we feel so good. But yes helping our friend in need is also important. As per our country rules money is always transferred to our bank account. So PayPal is always empty. As per now i am saving my mylot money.

Indeed it's a mixture of emotions but overall I'm more happy than sad being able to help a friend and lessen my debt at the same time. I can always strive more to have my account refilled. I hope I will be making payout this month, too. So it is automatically transferred to your bank account? I think that's okay as long as you receive the complete amount. However, how is the exchange rate when it's transferred to your account? Is it based on your bank or on PayPal rate?
