Do you think GTA Game OK for Kids....???

hi to all
Well, I like to Play GTA Vice City & San Andreas, Once I Playing a GTA Game, My Small Nephew Came & Asking me to give him chance to play, First I Refuse Because I knew the nature of GTA Game, but keeps insisting me & convincing me, he said that he likes cars so much so he just driving a car & bikes, OK I give him chance, but I'm feels shocked when he copying me & start firing in GTA Vice City, Actually he is watching me long time & know how to play this game, he is just 6 years old, after he is doing I instantly carry a game from him, & scolds him, he is saying me its just fun to shoot, how naughty he is??? anyway, I decided now not to play these game infront of small children, Right now I play but usually play secretly, so guy what about you??? If your kids asks you for playing GTA Game, can you gives them a chance???huh???

As a mother, I never let my sons play violent video games even though they begged and I even had to fight my husband to keep those games out of the house. Their friends all played them and even strangers could tell the difference between my sons and their friends. Their friends were less sensitive to peoples' feelings and more reckless with their actions. They did not seem to think about consequences and got into more trouble in school than my sons did. As adults, my sons are in stable relationships and planning to marry while their friends drift from girl to girl and one friend even has 3 children but no wife.
I can't say that violent games did all that (and my sons are far from perfect) but I don't think anyone could say they were not a factor in their growing up.
Whatever a child is exposed to tends to help shape their character.

I don't have any children but if I did, I wouldn't want them playing any of the GTA games. But I know I would be playing it haha I love GTA and I can not wait for number 5 to come out. Recently I have been playing a game called Saints Row 2. It is kind of like GTA. I love it so much.
Children are known to act or what they see on television or games so I suggest you don't even play Vice City while your nephew is with you. :)

I believe GTA has been banned for some areas and that children must not play it. I played it before and it is quite violent for children, the game involves killing, going to jail, it has blood and gore in it which is really not suitable for children. so it is a big no no for my kids.. we do not have it in our computer.

I used to play the GTA games before I was a mother, however I haven't played them in a long time. If I did still play them, however, I can guarantee you that I wouldn't let my children play the game, despite the fact that they are a little bit older. The reason that I wouldn't allow them to play the game is because of the fact that it is violent and much of the language in the game is not appropriate. Now in a couple years, this might be something that I will reconsider.

Oh, my son got addicted playing GTA maybe two months ago. LOL. I'm glad he was over it already. He played it usig my husband's computer and Nintendo. I am shocked because he's good at playing it. He's 8 years old. He loves to play the games that his dad loves to play. He also imitates his dad just like your nephew imitation you. So funny. I guess you should avoid playing such games when they're around. LOL.
