I have two friends who celebrate their Christmases and New Year's with a really big bang. Why? Their birthdays happen to be on the same dates. My one friend, born in Christmas Day feels that his birthday is very special because it coincided with the traditional celebration of Christmas and yes, it means more extra presents. Though the number of presents gets lower but pricier each year, he doesn’t have to worry about those or people forgetting their birthday. Of course, he goes to mass just like any good Christian on that special day. Now, the other friend who celebrates double time on New Year. He even has a treat because they buy fireworks for the double celebration. He knows that as a New Year baby, he shares the honor with other babies and babies on the way to the hospital. My friends definitely feel that their special day is really a special day for them. I think that is my birthday is in the same situation, I can be a little more festive in my celebration. Would you?

Aww, that's something special seriously man! I wish I could also feel the same. My birthday is just one day past the Christmas and every time there is Christmas celebrations happening, I always felt how good it would have been if my birthday also would have been on the same day! Your friends are really lucky people!

I think anyone will be happy that their birthday falls on Christmas and other spectacular occasion. It kinda makes you feel special and the day more special than it seems. It adds a little more something compared to your ordinary birthday. Anyway, I’m sure you will also have a double feats, being close to Christmas. Probably, additional presents too without the hassle of cleaning up. I agree.

Your friends are lucky enough to be born of such dates, because the celebration falls in Christmas and new year. The one with the Christmas date is more luckier than the the one with the new year date, because he can spend his lavishness, yet their are so many who would shoulder his expenses due to the special day,so he has nothing to spend yet enjoy the free gifts of money and other things. The one who has the new year celebration, have to be precocious about his expenses because it is new years eve.It is believe that spending this day makes you a big spender whole through the year. The celebration should be bought during ending of December to avoid spending during his birth date.

Yes, they are both lucky, They almost have every advantage of the season and they are also the stars of the celebration (apart from the traditional centerpiece of the holy family and the Three Kings). Anyway, I think it is also quite helpful for their family since there will be a double celebrations, and less problems when organizing and cleaning-up. Also they could take advantage of the whole family being there for their day.

My brother-in-law celebrated his birthday in January, that's why he can't celebrate it that date, just to avoid spending in the new year.He just celebrated his birthday during Sunday, yet that is with in the week of his birth date.

I can imagine how fun it would be to have your birthday fall on those special occasions. People have lots of money during those days and lots of people were in vacation so you wouldn't have a problem in celebrating your birthday during those days. Just imagine a debut being celebrated during New Year. You wouldn't have to worry of the fireworks.

A debut might be a blast to the celebrant. However, knowing anyone in that age range, they rather have a laptop or a gadget rather than a sit-down or a fancy party. of course, they might so lucky that they get both.

well, that's indeed a double celebration blast. christmas is a celebration of the birth of jesus christ and your friend is surely practicing kindness of his own. celebrating christmas and new year is also my favorite, especially when we go to our relative's house and have a party with my one and only cousin, Xtine :)

Indeed. A good reason to be merrier and spend more time doing good things with the best people in the world. Less worries, less work, nothing would be better.
