i know you might thing that we are just doing any thing in our lives. but in my own perception although we are earning pretty well, i mean my family is able to give support, but i think there is not much clear direction in our lives. i just feel that we have to do something more in our lives so we would have to enjoy our life more or at least live normally as we should. i know my discussions seem to be vague. but i just feel not i could not just share every thing though.

If You know what you wanted to do in your life,or if you what is your purpose in living then you know what to do. You should really find first yourself, what is your interest, what do you want to be, so that you have directions as to where to go or where to start.LIfe is really complicated sometimes but we need to find a way to it.

Well actually I can understand what you want to express and I agree with you.As for me I find out the the happiest time is help somebody who really need our help. So if we can raise ourselves and have some surplus and time,so why not go to help someone who really need your help? You will feel happy through it.

I am 41 years of age and I have lost direction, I don't seem to have a purpose, I have achieved all that I have set out to achieve, have no real goals, no aspirations or anything to look forward to, it's like I am drifting through life with no destination and no purpose. I am hoping that the new year will kick me into touch. I have confided in my therapist about my worries and she suggests I learn something new, take the opportunity to better myself in education, but I could find no interest that I want to explore. I just can't seem to gather any enthusiasm and make full use of my life, instead of wasting it away.

If you are feeling as though you lack direction, find a volunteer opportunity that will enable you to give back to your community. Volunteers are always needed for things. Depending on your skill set, you may even be able to get a job in a field that allows you to help others within your community. Then, you would both feel as though you were making a difference within your community, and be contributing to your family's finances. You may also want to consider furthering your education. Then, you would have greater freedom to pursue a career that you found to be fulfilling. Who knows? It might even lead you to create your own non-profit organization.

This is something that has been bugging me for a couple years, I always feel like what I am doing has no end point and I need to do something meaningful that can change the world, or change the people around me. You never know though, even things that seem like small nothings could end up changing somebody or their lives.

I think eventhough you have enough and more-than-that earnings, you are still lacking something in an aspect of your life. Be it spiritual, emotional or physical. Maybe, you need to soul search and find what makes you really happy. Find what lacks in your spirit. Maybe you need to be like a philantrophist who loves to help other people or you need more love and you want to give love to somebody. Or maybe you would like to have a career change.

I frequently feel the same (through the years) but if it comes to helping out others I do a lot good in my life (even nobody is doing good to me). Yesterday for example I made a lot of food and gift bags for a tv station in my city who wants to give this to real poor people. I did this for free. Although the tv station said I am one of these poor people I do not consider myself as one of them. I don't think your discussion is about if we do something good in our lives but what the meaning of life, especially yours is. No matter what you do, sooner or later you will ask yourself what you did do with your life. Others might say you do great things, for sure there will be always people who do remember you. Even if you were never close (I do remember people from years ago as well). Still I do have these feelings too every ... What did I do with my life? A lot, soo much but sooner or later it's also as if I am back at the start. I think the point is, the meaning of your life is to learn some lessons. To develop yourself, to grow and to be you in the end.
