I wish a game like sword art online will be created. Playing a mmorpg in virtual reality really interest me. Especially if i can defeat a virtual dragon with my "own hands". Can anyone share they're knowledge in the latest technology on virtual reality to me? Is it possible to create a game like sword art online?

I also wish that the virtual reality generation comes someday... I would not mind playing even if I'm already old when that time comes. On side note, my friend has a new cell phone with air shuffle technology...He lend the cell phone to me...when I started to use it. It feels like I'm opening the menu in sword art online. I just wave my hands down, the screen is following to my gestures. Even VAIO laptops have that kind of sensors. It really feels like virtual reality is on its way.

yea i wouldn't mind playing it as an old man. there is also the oculus rift. If they could combine the sensors, the omnidirectional treadmill and the oculus rift they could make somthing amazing! but it would be too expensive anyways. i wish they could make a brain-computer interface gadget and apply it to gaming. i wish it really comes.

yea it would be very cool and interesting to play a game like that. maybe some will be able to invent it in the next 10 to 20 yrs or so unless the world ends on 21. haha

I don't know anything about "sword art", but I can tell you about 2 very addictive oens: Travian - there may be "worlds" only for your country, well, not sure but worth try .. Yet is a mostly team game .. Runescape - is international and I warn you, is extremly addictive. Good luck.

I am not sure if it is possible to create a game like this in the future. It will be very difficult I guess as you are using your mind to control the game. But that sounds exciting and I hope it is not dangerous.
