Silly Reason I Cried Over

I have cried in my life over some funny things. One of the most recent ones was crying over a "Mighty Ducks" movie. I don't know why, but some scenes overwhelmed me. I think it was the whole pathos related to the team improving and fighting till the end in every single game, once they became good. My girlfriend watched that movie with me. Her statement was: "I can't believe my boyfriend cried over a 'Mighty Ducks' movie! :D " Guess, THAT made her day. Funny, isn't it?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i do not call this a silly reason to cry as emotions can vent out any time. Your emotions were natural and it simply came out and that is as simple as that. I know for many it would sound weird that a guy cried while watching a movie but i think it is normal for a human being to shed tears if he gets attached to a movie emotionally. Even i have cried a couple of times whenever i have got emotionally attached to any movie. So do not worry it is absolutely normal. What say?

I know it's okay to cry over a movie. It was just surprising it happened over a kids' movie that is meant to be upbeat, encouraging, and it happened during the moment that team, Mighty Ducks, have scored. So, really, there was NO reason to cry, but, somehow, I did - that's what was funny about it. :D

its too late to post a comment to this discussion. but i like the content in it. sometimes we may cry for some funny reasons. watching some emothional movies may bring tears . if our super hero cry for some reason in the movie, we may cey because of the vlind love we have on that super star. some times if may scold us for some silly reason we may start crying. but these are happy moments and if we sit and think about it we will surely laugh for the silly things we did in the past

I agree that movies can be overwhelming and at times they do make us cry. My husband however I can't recall ever seeing him cry over a movie. I'm sure that there has been one or two movies that has made him really sad but he hasn't cried about them around me.

Well, that is really kinda funny. But I think every single person in the world do always cry over some silly reason especially when we are still a child. We might just cry over for a toy which you wanted it so much but your parents doesn't allow to buy maybe because of the price or it is not worth it. I still remember that I always cry over those silly relationship I have back then. Sometimes I think it is funny to cry over it, but sometimes I think the relationship I have gone through is somehow worth it because I learn a lot through them. I even somehow cry over things that I wanted to buy the most but because it needs online payment and not sure is it safe and I cry over it. Quite funny though. But it is good to have some funny time in life. Even though it is just crying over with some silly reasons. Anyway, enjoy your life! :D

If I ever cry over a movie it's usually a romance. I remembering watching the notebook not too long over a bad break-up, I cried my eyes out over that movie, it was so bad but so good at the same time, letting it all out. Whenever I do that I feel really tired afterwards and don't feel like doing anything but just going over what it was I cried about.
