My son asked a funny question. Have you ever had this happen?

I was talking on the phone. My 8yr old son is watching a movie in the other room. He comes up to me around 8:30pm and says mom is it bedtime? I say well are you tired? he says yes and I look at the time and say yes go ahead and go to bed. I am thinking I normally put him to bed around 8Pm and when I talk on the phone I let him stay up to 9pm and he is on winter break from school. I was just thinking a few mins before typing this up its funny he was tired and didn't just go to bed he thought he should ask me if it were bed time. Has your kids or kid ever asked you that?

It is really looks so cute a son asked mommy if it is time to bed. I don't have kid yet, but thinking for such act of a child asking permission or things of such is really a heart warming moment. Good day!

Good your son wishes to sleep at his regular time. My kids are different if they are watching tv they just forget about the sleep even the time reach at 11 pm. Then it is me to switch of the tv and force them to sleep. I don’t know how they can awake in late night. They prefer to compensate their sleep in morning time.

i used to ask permission from my mom for everything. I think it just stopped when we were visiting my grandma and I asked my mom if I could take a shower then an aunt laughed and told my mom how obedient her daughter is. That was when I realized that I was old enough to decide on some things

yes your son is so cute, my 5yr old son also do similar,when he feel tired, but I forget to put him on bed,sometimes I'm talking to my husband or doing some house cleaning, then he will pull me to the bed and says ,mom is it the time I can sleep?oh I love children, they are always so lovely .
