One of my hubby is to take pictures of my babies. It's nice to capture a pictures to those happy moments. But I just got this normal digital camera, whenever I took a picture its not clear or a little blurry or pixelated. But the good cams like dale are quite expensive. Is there any trick or somethin to use how to make pictures pretty like those studio pics and professional photographs?

Hello there. Welcome to myLot! :) My digicam was lost many months ago so I just use my cell phone to take pictures. Good thing that I am I like taking pictures of anything. But I don't know about editing nor photoshop. I still wish to have a digi cam again because it is easier to take shots. I have looked at mall the other day. Hi, If you have 10-plus megapixel resolution on your digicam, then it should turn out decent pictures. Try to fiddle with the settings, increasing the picture size to maximum resolution. Some camera has settings for taking pictures at a certain range like VGA for web sharing, 5MP or 10MP depending on the size of the picture to be printed. The bigger is the print, the resolution should also be compensated to avoid pixelation and blurry images. If the camera does not support these settings, there are compacts now that can take the capability of DSLRs at reasonable prices. Sony DSC series is one of them. Mine is DSC H90 that can take up to 16.1MP of picture and 720HD video without flickering, at favorable lights and steady hands of course. It can fit inside the pocket with price that won't make holes in it.

I agree. Without resolution capability, we'll be difficult to produce a high resolution pictures too. May be with editing on some software like photoshop, photoscape, etc, we'll get better. But, it'll still be limited.

Yes it can. There is nothing professional about those studio pics. The most professional part is the photoshop part. Nothing has changed if it comes to that. Before the digicam came professionals made a lot of shots and the biggest part was terrible, they just threw it away. Get to know your camera first so make a lot of pictures. Mostly you need to press the button half the way to make it sharp. Take different subject (incl. moving) from different spots (light/shadow etc). Many digicams have some extra's build in too like sepia, blue, black and white etc. There are also very easy programms (irfanview for example) you can use to make your pics a bit better of give them something extra. Remember that a digicam is slower in responding as the old camera was.. so if possible make (automatically) more as 1 shot of a moment. The best, most relaxed pictures are made at the unexpected moments so take your time for it, no matter if it takes 1 or 4 hours. It's the result that counts.

Hi liezel! I also have a digital camera and I am not quite satisfied with its performance that is why I am planning to have a DSLR. I am planning to have a website for different beautiful places in my province/municipality and I think an ordinary camera cannot give the quality of picture that I am looking for. Have a nice day!

Hi, My camera is also digital, it works good for me. I think it depends on the brand and the pixel. But you can also adjust the settings before you use it. That's what I do. I test it first and then adjust it the way I want the quality of the picture to look like. Sometimes I edit the result in my computer. There you can adjust the color, brightness and saturation.

yeah, especially, when your camera is on high definition, you can. I also love photography and I suggest that you must have a high definition camera, particularly SLR camera coz it has multi lens zoom wherein you can zoom up to ten times.

Quality depends on cam that you use but also check if you have it set at the best quality, clean the lens if it's smudgy and hold the cam perfectly still when it takes shoots. No cam takes better photos when you shake :P Hope I helped, if it's just lousy cam you can't improve it. How many pixels?

I think there is still that possibility though in my case, I do edit my pictures through photoshop or other photo editing applications. I could indeed increase my creativity through it. Additionally, pictures look cool using photo editing applications. I used to add my own touch to it such as different light effects, frames, putting objects, etc. And yes, taking photos is one also of my hobbies. I enjoyed such activity.

I also like taking pictures of my babies using digicams or cellphones sometimes its not clear and then I just fix it using adobe photoshop or some online photo editor like photobucket and pizzap. I have fun editing pictures because I can also put some designes like butterflies, glitters and some other effects that can make the picture beautiful. Another option is to set your own mini studio, you can search it on in the DIY sites so you'll learn how to put the lights and the background for your pictures but if you really want a camera that used by professionals you can be it in a cheaper price, there are lots of cameras that is sold online.
