When I was down in the dumps, she never acknowledged my existence, When we rarely met at some occasion, she pretended that I was not her class, When she was down in the dumps I stuck with her, helped her to solve her difficulties, But when I had insurmountable difficulties, she ignored and snubbed me, Pretended that she was too busy to involve with my petty matters, But now when she saw that I have overcome my problems,(thanks to my Almighty's help) She now visits me with gifts and pretends to be great friends again, Should I ignore her or forgive her?

Life is too short to be around someone with this lousy attitude, what happens if you meet any more problems in the future? Where will she be? If you can't rely on someone, or trust that they will be a respectful, loyal friend, why waste time on them, why would you want to be around that kind of person? I certainly wouldn't. Friendship is two-way. She has shown you no respect at all. There are plenty of people that would appreciate you, she ain't one of them!

She's definitely not a true friend because a true friend is not faking and doing some false modesty. A true friend should take responsible in giving further assistance, motivation, comforts and advises when a certain friend is in the state of difficulty (like on your situation not just they're only be at your side when you have something valuable or could make them beneficial. Please note that a true friend can be measured by the time of difficulties and not the time of convenient. Thus, on your friend's case it is very obvious that she's not your real friends. So, I therefore suggest that, you may carefully check her sincerity and loyalty before you laid off your trust to her and eventually accept her as your REAL friend. Good luck!

A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. So she is obviously not your true friend, even a friend. If I were you, I will certainly ignore her, I don't need that kind of friend. A proverb is enriched my life, that is,a friend in need is a friend indeed. She doesn't deserve your friendship.

It's very disappointing when this happens. I'm sorry you must go through this. You may never be close, but I would advise you to stick with this person. Show this person your love and how to be a friend. This is what we're called to do. Maybe through your actions, this person can learn what a true friend is.

An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast, a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind.If she were a true find she wouldn't have ignored you.Looks like she wants a favour from you (since she is giving you gifts). Act smart and decide for yourself. Good Luck!
