I have gone through 3 teenage drivers. My last one is driving now. It's pretty scary when you don't think they are mature enough to drive. My teenager now had her liscense for 3 months and got into a car wreck. Rolled it in the ditch when swerving to miss an animal in the road. Not a good thing to do. She was okay thank goodness but not the car.

yes thank goodness your daughter is ok....Well, My brother 1st driving experience was too funny...Now looking back we both laugh. he would be like 500 feet from the light, it's green and he still slows down like it's a yellow light...or just plain really cautious....I believe teenagers just starting out really take driving seriously as oposed to someone like me who just go with the flow of traffic, you break, I break, you stop I stop...lol

The ones around here don't take it serious. They are crazy. After school its like a race track. You don't want to be on the same road as they are. She is getting better. Still having back trouble every once in awhile

I personally think the driving age should be raised to 18 and that all kids should have to take a course before getting their license. They should also have very strict guidelines as to when and where they can drive for a while to get more experience. A vehical is a dangerous weapon.

Here they have to take drivers ed and only do 6 hours behind the wheel. I don't think that's long enough. I know when I took drivers ed I drove all summer with and instructor. Must be the different states.

i think teen drivers are fine being one myself. as long as they are careful. something to prevent them from wrecking is when they first start driving only allow one other person at a time with them in the car so they do not get distracted.

My daughter isn't allowed more than one. I really think the law should change to 18 to drive alone. At 16 they can drive alone until 7:00pm. Sounds good to me.

buckle up please - they have the same right to be on the road but have the respect for all other drivers
i think that they should be more aware of there driving and have respect for others on the road, please dont drink and drive.

Very scary. Most are too aggressive. My thought is that they have leartned their driving from you very early in their life (up to age 7or8). and they probably won't change until late in their life, even if you had changed during their teens. Just my impressions from my two daughters.

My youngest is the best driver out of the 3 girls. My oldest has a heavy foot and the other one just doesn't care. Thanks

I do not feel that teenagers should be driving by themselves yet as I do not think they are mature enough or experienced enough drivers. I think they need to be educated more about driving and defensive driving and other keys to being a good and safe driver.

Most teenage drivers are not good driver. They drive like crazy. It seems they don't realise the responsibility. Good to know that your daughter is ok.
