The X Factor USA 2012 Winner!

The famous talent show created by Simon Cowell, known as the X Factor, just had it's Grand Finale on December 21, 2012. The 37-year old country singer Tate Stevens, mentored by L.A. Reid, was crowned as the winner of the show. 13-year old Miss Carly Rose Sonenclar, under Britney's category got the second place, and the girl group Fifth Harmony that were put together and was mentored by Simon Cowell placed third. The winner took $5 Million recording contract, aside from other bonus prizes. All of them are very good singers but at the end of the day, there's gonna be only one winner.
Congratulations Mr. Tate Stevens!

Haha I heard that tv show too but I'm really into it. I'm addicted to X Factor so much haha. I love music so I think this the reason.

Personally I cannot stand Simon Cowell, he thinks too much of himself, I just find him so irritating, we have X Factor in the UK and I can't stand it, they just like the sound of their own voices and the show is demeaning to some especially when they are rated harshly.

I like Simon Cowell and he is my favorite judge. Haha
A lot of people do not like him because of his way of judging performers. They describe him as a heartless judge but as for me, people like him is very much needed in the music industry most especially in finding new fresh talents. Most judges are being so nice to performers and do not want to hurt them, and as a result, these types of judges end lying and not telling the truth. I'm not saying that Simon is always right, but most of the time his judgments are true. He is just to harsh and so straight forward making him look like a heartless person.
He already proved himself to the world of showbiz so what can I say...

Haha I agree with you, Simon is a very tough, rude, and a straight forward judge but also he has already proven himself. He may not be a very good singer but he was able to find a lot of talents. His judgments are for real and he is judging according to his mind and how he feels, so...

I watched this here in mexico last night. I always like Tates music all season long. Im really surprised that the people voted for a country singer. I was sure the 13 year old was going to win. I like x factor. Now, I cant wait for american idol to start in feb... Merry xmas...

I also like Tate Stevens since his very first audition. By that time, I was already sure that he's gonna go far up to the finals. Having Carly Rose on the final 3, I really thought she was going to win, so I was surprised about the result. I'm not against Tate's victory it's just that my expectation was more on Carly. Anyway, all of them are gonna go far in the music industry so it's just fine. Tate needs it more so he deserved it.

I am pleased with the result, although I really want Carly Rose to win but still Tate deserves the title mainly because Carly’s still young and fresh she can land any record label with her age, and she can grow more as a better artist.
not that I am saying that Tate is old, it’s just that he has backed a lot of responsibilities that he sacrificed throughout the competition and if he didn’t win, he’d still go back to his asphalt and concrete job which he doesn’t want his family to see him back to what he is working. But still, it was a great battle.

Yeah I agree with you. Both of them were my bets but I wanted Tate to win not because he is better than Carly but I was looking to other factors like his age, needs, sacrifice, etc. Carly has a bright career ahead of her for sure already and she's gonna be famous. I'm really glad the voters did not only see Tate's talent but also his sacrifices.
