Is now you ratified the end of the world to know not only God Almighty? And there are signs that must be met before the Day of Judgment ?

I'm about to watch Real Steel with Hugh Jackman on Showtime.
Feels like any other day to me, 'cept it's a bit colder today than yesterday.
In my EST time zone, there's still 2 hours before 12/22. So you never know.

Same as it was before: We'll know if the world is about to end.
I'm not sure what could happen that we wouldn't know well in advance through emperical evidence and not simply superstition.
A meteor/comet? We'd know for sure it was coming. Climate change? We're seeing the beginning, rather weaker stages, but would witness it worsening consistently. Supervolcano eruption? The ash cloud would take weeks to do damage and at least give us a long enough time to know it was coming. Massive gamma ray burst from a super nova? We'd see it coming. Our star burning out? Something that will happen in stages. Massive outbreak of an untreatable disease? It's something that's coming in stages, from the first group infected, mass panic, lockdown, eventual spread, etc.
My opinion is that I never take predictions too seriously. There are still many out there. But we'll know for certain if something threatens the entire world. Depending on what it is, we may not know long enough in advance to stop it. But we'll know when it's real.

I feel older.
However it`s funny to see that some smart guys are claiming this is another failure of religion and especially christian religion. What Chirstianity has to do with the mayan calendar ?
In the bible it is written plain and clear that no one on this world, and not even the angels from heaven don`t know when the world will end.

Being a Muslim I know and believe there will definitely be end to this world and we shall all have to stand in front of Allah to face the reward of what we have done during this life. However our religion makes it clear the time of the doomsday is known to only the Almighty and there are clear signs which will show before that. Since many of those signs are still to come, there is no point in telling people so and so day will be that day. I hope we all realize who is our Lord Allah and repent for our wrong doings before that.

hi dear samar, I am a Christian and the Bible says that only God knows when the Final Day of the World will be and no person not even Jesus knows the exact day. So when rumours start about the end of the day like with 21/12/2012 I am just thankful that I know from Holy Scriptures that this will likely not be the last day we spend on Earth.

So glad it's over so I don't have to hear about people complaining the world is going to end and it's happening today. I knew the whole time it's just a joke and people will believe anything.

I kept getting mixed up - didn't know if it was suppose to be the 20th or the 21st. Well, so far, it has been kind of an ordinary, boring, normal day - which is good. No excitement, nothing scary, nothing frightening happening. So, I suppose that makes it a good day. It seems that the sun will rise again tomorrow. I suppose it was fun to speculate about whether or not the world will end. If it has ended, then wherever we are, it seems like we are still on earth. :)
