The Christmas presents from my BF

Tonight, my BF came to pick me up in the company, and he brought a small gift with him, a box of chocolate and a rose. I am so surprised and happy because it is very late in the evening( i had to overtime tonight) and I prepared nothing to him. So, i decide to prepare a new year gift for him this week.

Oh, sounds like you have a romantic boyfriend. How fortunate for you! A New Year's gift does sound like a nice surprise for him.
Sometimes, it is the small and yet, meaningful gifts that are the best.
My gift was that my husband and my oldest son - who is serving in the military - surprised me with my son's homecoming for Christmas. They both kept it a secret from me for months. I was really missing my oldest son as I had not seen him in two years.
My husband wanted it to be a surprise for me and so he made all the arrangements and even managed to capture my surprise moment (with the tears and my big hug for my son) on his cell phone.
I didn't have anything to top that surprise Christmas gift to my husband (and my son) and so, I will make up for it by just appreciating what my husband did for me this Christmas.

that is so thoughtful of him! I think that a box of chocolates (dark chocolate is my favorite) and flowers is a wonderful gift! A new year's gift would be thoughtful of you to give and I really don't think that your friend expects you to give a gift. Have a great holiday!

Aww that was so nice of your boyfriend. It must have made you feel so good. I dont have a boyfriend so I didnt get any present from one this year. I think its really nice that you are going to surprise him with a gift for the new years. I would love to get some chocolates and roses :)

That's so romantic.My boyfriend is out of work,I spend the Christmas with my workmate.We went shopping in the downtown .I did not received a christmas gift.It's a pity.
