I watch the program a yoga teacher was saying to her students please wear the track suit for yoga. One student of her was wear the bangali kurta. I think feel comfortable in track suit so she was saying this. What you think track suit is necessary for yoga or can do the simple cloth pajam and kurta.

Hi i never heard of this kind of words from any Yoga teacher.i think there must be some kind of reason which benefits the students that's why the yoga teacher you mentioned asked them to wear a track suit we have to try and notice the difference between a track suit and a pajama, kurta after trying both then we can come to know which one is comfortable to us and then can follow vise versa..

Hi dear, I think we can practice yoga with a dress we are comfortable on it. The dress should not be tight that is the only thing we have to care. But I agree, whenever we watch a picture on yoga or yoga related programs in tv people do wear some special kind of dress. I think it convey the message the dress should be loose enough to breath. Here in this case you mentioned, I think all coachers, whether it is yoga or dance or any other, are adopting some dress code. So they are asking all students to follow the same. Have you practice yoga dear?

Yoga and other exercise needs some movement and that is why wearing the proper suit is more suitable and comfortable my dear sis. I like to jog and I wear jogging pants and rubber shoes for this activity.

Hi SR Well its not necessary but yes it is more comfortable than other clothes. And during exercising we should go for comfortable clothes only otherwise we will not able to do it properly. Outfit surely matters during our exercising.

No, it's not. It's important to be comfortable in yoga. If you are alone wear whatever you are comfortable in. If you are doing it in a group make sure your clothes are neither too tight nor loose because yoga requires a lot of stretching and tightly fitted clothes might not give you the freedom of doing the asanas freely.

I do not think it is necessary to wear track suite for yoga and lots of people wear other dresses for yoga. I think it depends on people and what they wanted to wear.

I do not think the track suit is required to do yoga. I think it is important to be comfortable so that your clothing is not distracting while you are doing the activities. If the clothing is not comfortable it can be difficult to achieve maximum results.

I believe these clothes are made to hasten the results of the said exercise. So, yoga is best done with appropriate clothing. However, you could still wear anything comfortable if you don't have one.

In Yoga you have to make delicate and various movements of body. Your body should be flexible to suit to different types of mudra's(Asan's). So the dress recommended is loose cloths, as you have correctly mentioned pajama and kurta, so that you feel comfortable at that time. See Baba Ramdeva. What cloths he is using. Cloths should be such as there is no obstacle in your movements. It is immaterial whether track suit and any other else.

For yoga, i think we need some soft cloth to do it. Because we need to bend our body, if the cloth is not soft and smooth, it will be a little difficult
