Keep on praying for family's welfare, but...

it seems, problems don't cease, but just get worse. My brother is still lost and needs serious psychological and spiritual help. However, he's not very open to that. He demands too much and acts as if, he's in control. My sister, is pregnant with his other man. She has been living away from her husband for years now, but they are not legally separated. Yet, now, she's involved with another man for more than 3 years, and is bearing a child for him. It is disappointing, but, who am I to complain. There are other people having bigger problems than mine. So, I will continue praying and doing what I can to help resolve these problems.

We have some similar issues with my husbands family. We had to stop having to have anything to do with my brother in law at all right now that doesn't involve more trouble. It is hard when family acts immorally and it reflects on ones self. It is harder yet to watch them flounder around out of control and needing help yet not accepting the need. Hugs and prayers to you and know you are not alone.

If not all you can do is what is best for yourself and your family and let the others live their own lives without you...sad but what else really can anyone do?

Well, it feels really disappointing, but I guess you're right. We can only help those who want to be helped.

You cannot do much for them besides praying, friend. They are adults and have to take care of their problems. I guess we can help our family when they are ill, but not when they willingly make wrong decisions. Take care.

My mother always begs me to help my brother and sister. In my heart, I want to, if I can. But, my mind tells me to let them learn. You're right, they're adults and they know what they're doing, but they chose the wrong way.

We all pray for the best of our relatives. But its just disheartening to see their lives to fall apart. I know how you feel. Just keep praying for them.

That's true. It makes me feel like I'm not a good sister or daughter, but I can really only do so much.
