I am going to ask my Grandma she got this recipe years ago from an aunt. She made them I absolutely loved them. She would make a big dish of them and send them home for me. They are moist, and delicious. My Mom made them years ago but lost the recipe. I thought of them the other day but can't find the recipe online though. They are low in calories and fat, they also relieve constipation. They are like chocolate, then pumpkin in the middle. I know it's canned pumpkin and maybe cat mix I believe or homemade cake mix.

My Grandma can't find the actual recipe but she said it was canned pumpkin mix, and chocolate cake mix. She did a few times make it from scratch with a cocoa chocolate cake, pour it into the cups, then put a scoop of pumpkin in them.

Looks, sounds, hmmmmm I hope tastes yummy. But I bet it is going to be, and that's new. Hmmmmm, a taste of pumpkin over chocolate? Wow exciting. I always admire those who can bake. I like to bake, too however we don't have oven

How do you not have an oven? I would die without one, I love to bake.

Yes we don't have much as I wanted to next time I will purchase an oven for the house. It is expensive here.

I am wondering if you can take this recipe here : http://www.food.com/recipe/weight-watchers-2-point-pumpkin-muffins-145312 and substitute the spice cake mix with a chocolate cake instead, and perhaps if needed add more pumpkin spice or nutmeg?

It may work, I think I may make it that way just because it is easier.

Actually, it looks like the recipe can be found online. I believe that this is the recipe for which you are looking... http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/rcp/RecipePage.aspx?recipeid=217910290 The muffins do sound like a good idea, but I would have to make it more from scratch. I'm not much for boxed cake mixes even though there are some decent organic ones on the market (You would never find Duncan Hines or the like in my pantry.).

I usually buy my mixes from the health food store when I can afford them. I love the organic line at the grocery store. I love the oatmeal spice muffins or cornmeal muffins are to die for.

I dont think these are something that I would like. It doesnt seem like pumpkin and chocolate would go together very well to me. Thats awesome they help relive constipation though as both my kids have a hard time with that sometimes. I dont like anything made to be low calorie as it usually tastes so bland.

What is cat mix? Is that a secret ingredient and you spilled the beans on it?
