Hello everyone.
First of all I would like to wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year ahead. Actually I was waiting for tonight hoping that I will get the alert. But unfortunately there were no gifts this time. If I remember correctly once upon a time in Mylot the admins used to give us bonus on this day. There used to be a special offer saying that whatever you earn on the last day of the year it will get doubled. In fact it used to be the most earning day of the year for me.
So were you there back then ??? Do you want the admins to give us such gifts again ???

There have, as far as I recall, only been two 'bonus days' in MyLot. The first was a Christmas bonus in which all earnings for one day were doubled, the second was a 'compensation' for a serious server problem (caused by a power outage on the East Coast of America) which lasted for about a week. Since people were unable to post properly for much of the time, it just about compensated for 'loss of earnings', though a few people were lucky to make a little more than usual.
As far as I know, neither of them coincided with the last day of the year.

I think I messed it up in that case. It was christmas and not new year. But I was right about the part that the earnings were doubled. I wish they start such systems again. Don't you want it ?? Anyways thanks for your response and have a nice day ...

oh, is that true? all i got was rewards today when i did some searches using mylot search bar today. i am not very aware of the double the earnings for this time of the month/year. I was actually here on Christmas eve but there wasn't any rewards here up until the changes... i am not sure if there is anything for us here too. hehe will they know that you are active due to your participation, or by your logged in time? hehe
I really wished they would do that though, this is the first time i am online and am on mylot during a holiday season such as this.

Well they did this only once. Even I was missing for quite number of holidays here with my previous accounts. But my other older friends said that it happened only once. May be next time the admins would do that if this discussion managed to catch their attention. Anyways thanks for your response and have a nice day. And yes, wish you a very happy new year as well...

There was no such bonus during my 6 years stay in mylot. I remember once there was double payment but it was on December 22. Then the last August there was quadruple earnings almost for a week but that time I could not participate due to lack of time.
I think you wish to get some New Year gift from mylot. Hope we will get something very soon unexpectedly.

Well I might have been wrong about the dates. But I was right about the double payment after all. And when did this quadruple payment happened :O Anyways thanks for your response and have a nice day...

Well that is a nice observation that you have made there. Actually this is my third account and please don't ask about the reasons.. It is a long story. Well it happened way long back. So that is why I think you are unaware of it. But it is no use hoping now as the day has passed and we did not receive any notification. Hello there.
I am a member of myLot for two years but it had been only a few months that I had been actively participating here. How I wish I had experienced myLot bonus! Well, bonus or not, I will still be here around doing things that I like. I consider myLot as my friend. I do the things that I like here which is reading, writing and I like the sharing of thoughts too. Earning here is just a plus. I really like this site!

Its been a great last 4 months for me here at mylot. I have met many great friends like you here. I just wish I had started long before I did. Im working in my cafe here today, untill 6pm on tuesday night (hope I mkae it) so If I dont see you here. Happy new years to you and your family there....

Well this incident happened way back. If I am not wrong it was some four years back. And according to the comments I got, it happened only once. But I hope after seeing this discussion and watching the other mylotter's enthusiasm may be the admins would think of doing it again. Anyways thanks for your response and have a nice day. Well it wont happen this time. If it was to happen then you must have received a notification from mylot some 2-3 days prior to new year's eve. I hope they will have it next year. Anyways thanks for your response and have a nice day. Also wish you a very happy new year friend..
